The Senior Franchise Area Manager-Food Service leads the development, coordination and monitoring of market execution tactics with key focus on increasing key distribution measures, driving volume growth and improving trade execution for the UT, WY, MT and AZ Bottlers anchored by Admiral Beverage.

The Sr. FAM is accountable to ensure all local and national initiatives are executed to help build Pepsi-Cola brands within the Bottlers franchise territory. This role is responsible for volume, distribution and strategy for the assigned Bottlers. The Sr. FAM is instrumental in coordinating and organizing all retail initiatives with the respective Independent Bottlers and their teams. The Sr. FAM develops critical, influential and strong relationships with the IBs, their teams and the distributors.

The Sr. FAM is also responsible for anticipating and developing solutions to barriers and providing on-going feedback to the Sr. Director of Franchise Development, the retail Franchise Development Managers and Bottler constituents. The role is calling on Admiral and Montana Bottlers and 2 Arizona Bottlers.

**The position location is flexible and can be based in Utah, Colorado or Arizona.

  • Lead the West Division GMA Food Service committee process
  • Ensure national and local brand/marketing programs are flawlessly executed, delivering PepsiCos Food Service goals, focused on elevating Portfolio, Presence and Partnership
  • Execution of mandated plan-o-grams and joint account priorities
  • Track and communicate competitive activity and develop action plans to respond
  • Evaluate, scorecard and establish priorities to achieve distribution targets on key brands/packages; plan and execute gap closure programs as mandated by business results
  • Ensure alignment with PBC Divisional and National counterparts on existing and new business opportunities
  • Deliver key package development in marketplace, i.e. drive SS growth, innovation targets and win new business opportunities
  • Generate new business and secure renewals while managing large local funding and quick start support
  • Lead AOP planning and development for Independent Bottlers, ensuring system alignment and successful execution of annual priorities

Qualifications/Requirements

**The position location is flexible and can be based in Utah, Colorado or Arizona.

  • Bachelors Degree, MBA a plus
  • Sales experience with track record of success on large, complex CPG customers
  • Food Service or consumer packaged goods experience
  • Previous people management experience
  • Exceptional leadership and customer management skills
  • Superior time management skills, ability to multitask, set priorities and plan
  • Strong use of influencing skills to gain alignment, agreement, and commitments (internal/external)
  • Strong ability to work within and be successful in a highly matrixed environment
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work independently, and solve problems by leveraging multiple function support
  • Strong planning/organizing skills: capable of managing major projects simultaneously
  • Above average finance skills in order to build compelling profit wins for customer and internal stakeholders
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently without constant direct supervision
  • Superior presentation skills, both in development of compelling stories and in presenting them at all levels within customer and internal organization
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
