The Sr. Director, Customer Experience Product Management (CXPM), for Solution Domains and Use Cases will have overall responsibility for driving the development, standardization and cross-functional alignment of Ciscos primary technology areas, their interworking, deployment planning, customer journey to value utilization and ultimately, adoption. The Sr. Director will lead a team of senior experts who deeply understand cross-domain technology interactions and customer requirements and can structure new innovations into solution domains and use cases with cross-functional participation and thought leadership across Cisco internal stakeholders, customer advisory and partners. This position is open to any Cisco employee globally that is willing to relocate to the USA.

Role and Responsibilities

        Own the cross-architecture portfolio of Solution Domains and use cases that support Ciscos strategic priorities and form the underlying framework for the scaling of the validation and adoption motions

        A key strategic stakeholder and contributor to the overall CX portfolio and technology vision, and responsible for its execution with other members of the CXPM leadership team

        Identifies, validates and recommends new opportunities for CX and Cisco business growth, leveraging the breadth of Ciscos cross-domain technology offers and partnerships

        Partners with CXPM Architectures and products, Customer Success, Delivery, Sales, Marketing, Technology business groups, Strategy, and Industry functions to recommend and develop appropriate solutions with optimized path to customer value 

        Interlocks closely with cross-functional teams and executive leadership internal and external partner organizations to dive alignment across offers and linked use cases

        Effectively manages field stakeholder interlocks, to understand regional priorities and opportunities and incorporate them into the solutions strategy in a transparent and organized manner

        Defines and manages core strategic partner relationships for co-development opportunities, as appropriate

        Develops insights from key customer and competitive trends, challenges and needs, and translates that into a competitive solution domain portfolio that delivers genuine business outcomes, value and differentiation to our customers

        Drives effective interlock with sales management, Business Development Managers (BDMs), and field enablement, actively participating in go to market development, collateral, sales training, and all activities required to drive financial performance

 

This role will report into the cross-portfolio VP of CX Product Management and lead a team of senior level Director, Product Management and Principal Engineers with overall accountability for maintaining cross-Cisco alignment for all Solution Domains and use cases

 

 

Skills and Experience

 

        Prior leadership management experience in the IT infrastructure products or services market in Product Management, Strategy, Sales, Customer Experience or Business Leadership roles

        In-depth understanding of overall network and security infrastructure, Cloud and application market trends, technologies and competition including automation, analytics, observability, migration and as a Service delivery, with direct experience in working with customers across industries and market segments in how they consume and realize value from technology investments

        Proven track record in building, managing and delivering on the goals of a large business for a major technology company

        Ability to take risks and drive innovation and transformation in a very complex market and portfolio environment

        Team development, mentoring and people leadership of a high-performing organization that is open, diverse and inclusive

        Top tier communication, leadership and strategy development skills with experience interacting and managing senior executive relationships across customer, partner and internal businesses

        Diversity of experience leading multiple business functions, transformation and/or digital transformation projects would be a plus

        Well versed knowledge of Ciscos products and services offers in different market segments will be a plus
