ADP is hiring a Sr. Director, Data and Analytics

The Sr. Director of Data and Analytics is a senior-level role responsible for leading a team of software engineers and data scientists. Responsible for designing, building, and operating a comprehensive data platform to collect data, analyze data, and derive consumable insights that improve end-user experience and drive ADP's competitive edge. Responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining talent and ensuring the engineering staff has the skills and capabilities to meet business needs.

This is an opportunity to help ADP build a next-generation workforce management platform. The platform leverages data and insights to help our customers automate their routine processes for better business outcomes. You will have the opportunity to assemble a talented team and build a state-of-the-art technology platform from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software developers

• Work with the team of ADP data scientists

• Design, build, deployment, and maintenance of the data, ML, and application pipelines
• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify data features to investigate
• Create consumable data models for reporting and analytics tools

• Design and build reporting and analytics products

• Expose insights via API-based services
• Monitor and measure business outcomes
• Drive adoption and measure business outcomes
• Provide operational support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
• 10+ years of overall technical experience in software engineering (prior developer experience a big plus)
• 5+ years of experience managing technical teams
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in the data science field
• Strong leadership skills and managing, mentoring, and developing technical teams

• • Experience with and deep understanding of data platforms, pipelines, and tools
  • Hands-on experience with data science and ML platforms (Databricks or Amazon SageMaker, a plus)
  • Business acumen and hands-on technical experience
