This role supports Pfizer's Global Business Services organization managing HR, Sourcing and Financial operations.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



The ServiceNow Release Lead is responsible for the overall Release Management strategy, providing support of both Pfizer releases, ServiceNow patches and upgrades, as well as overseeing the general administration of ServiceNow and the Change Request workspace. The role will also play an important role in the management of audit and compliance-related activities as the owner of SOPs related to the Change Request processes.



+ Develop and manage plans for ServiceNow upgrades and Pfizer releases.

+ Provide project management support for ongoing Stage Gate management and Release Planning processes for all Pfizer Releases.

+ Manage and communicate a comprehensive instance management strategy for ServiceNow, including the alignment of project activities with instances, managing refresh schedules, integrations, and non-production instance maintenance.

+ Responsible for the overall management and execution of the Pfizer ServiceNow Change Request process, including ownership of the change control process.

+ Partner closely with all teams to address ongoing changes to release planning and ServiceNow release processes and tools, including close coordination with Global Business Services and Digital teams on all large releases.

+ Conducts reviews of ServiceNow cases and leads overall incident management activities, including addressing and escalating ServiceNow outages and performance issues, managing the Pfizer named support contacts, open cases, and other system support activities.

+ Participate in the Pfizer systems audit, while ensuring that all teams working in the ServiceNow space are meeting Compliance objectives. This includes strategic ownership of SOPs and working closely with compliance teams to ensure process adherence.

+ Responsible for maintaining overall release plans and release coordination across ServiceNow and associated applications

+ Responsible for reviewing ServiceNow's bi-annual releases, working cross-functionally to determine potential impacts and coordinating the maintenance and proper storage of all documentation for compliance purposes.

+ Develops innovative options for ongoing continuous improvement opportunities in the ServiceNow Change Request process.



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ 3+ years of overall experience.

+ 1+ years managing projects or SAAS releases.

+ Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and partnering skills with both technical and functional end users.

+ Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

+ Ability to operate and deliver results in a matrixed organization, and influence others at more senior levels to engage and deliver where needed.

+ Experience working in an Agile project environment with an emphasis on frequently delivering functional software releases at a sustainable pace.



**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery platform and CIS - HR certification.

+ Experience with the ServiceNow Support Portal.

+ ServiceNow Service Portal Fundamentals Training, and/or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.

+ Familiarity with Human Resources business processes.

+ Experience with the SAFe Agile methodology.

+ Ability to work as an individual and in a team environment.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Strong organization and time management skills.



**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**



+ Occasional additional hours in the evening or weekends as necessitated by workload, project timelines, or meetings with global vendors and peers.
