Prudentials Marketing organization has recently undergone a transformation into targeted Centers of Excellence focused on driving personalized experiences for our customers, clients and advisors.

Our Marketing Operations & Enablement COE is seeking a Specialist, Marketing Capabilities, to drive our campaign marketing automation initiatives forward. This role is expected to have a strong understanding of email and marketing automation best practices, techniques and tools. 

Reporting to the Director, Marketing Automation, the ideal candidate should have a strategic mindset to continue to push the limits of what can be done with the integration, automation and administration efforts of our Marketing Technology Stack with a focus on Campaign Automation. The person filling this role will be instrumental in guiding the requirements of Prudentials Marketing capabilities and ensuring successful adoption of new features and functionality.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Support the digital marketing stack; ensuring optimal performance, strategic integrations, user adoption, SOPs, and more
  • Maintain outstanding technical support in a high-performance company culture that emphasizes superior quality, continuous improvement and productivity standards
  • Support the Data Enablement team with Marketing data requests
  • Process Improvement Develop and monitor improvement strategies for operational processes
  • Work with external vendors to maintain and develop our technology integrations, facilitate testing of new products and features
  • Provide support to overall road-mapping of future technical process improvement and/or testing tools
  • Help troubleshoot issues as they arise within the various platforms, specifically Eloqua
  • Partner with email execution team to ensure successful and timely building and deployment of marketing automation campaigns
  • Work closely with many different groups to manage requirements including technology, architecture, operations, marketing strategy, customer experience and more
  • Serve as administrator and product owner of various Marketing Technologies (On24, WebEx, Survey Monkey, Demandbase, etc.) driving adoption, support, and recommendations to increase utilization and ROI

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (3 years) in digitally enabled businesses. MBA or business degree a plus
  • 3 years of experience in Marketing Capabilities, specifically Campaign Automation; Eloqua preferred
  • 1-3 years project management experience managing technical projects
  • Strong project leadership and demonstrated ability to partner closely with marketing, analytics and product teams to drive outcomes for highly visible projects
  • Comfortable working with senior leaders across the organization, making recommendations and creating executive updates
  • Comfortable working with ambiguous and changing requirements and deadlines with a constant need to prioritize based on outcomes
  • Roll up your sleeves mentality; must be able to foster collaboration to drive strategies, plans, results and outcomes enterprise-wide
  • Database knowledge preferred - segmentation strategies, general knowledge of user experience best practices, able to learn how to build and manage email automation programs
  • Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to effectively work independently, as well as part of a team and across functions and levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in financial services preferred
