Maybe youve heard of Dealertrack, but if you havent, were a part of the Cox Automotive family. Not to humblebrag, but were the tops in the title administration industry. We manage paper and electronic registrations and titles - over 52 million of them, in fact. So, as you can imagine, were kinda busy.


Thats why we are on a quest for someone to manage and resolve escalated technical issues reported by our internal and external clients as well as provide product, sales and account teams with proposal and direct sales support. Youll sit in Groton, CT and your title will be *Solutions Specialist*, and youll report to the Technical Client Services Supervisor. If this has you curious, keep reading.





*What Youll Do*

As the Solutions Specialist you will be focused on providing client product opportunity Application Programming Interface (API) solution design and will provide product, sales, and account teams with direct sales and proposal support to engage and win new opportunities in the digital retail product segment.


You will be responsible for gathering client feedback and defining client API solutions and integration strategies, as well as managing those integrations for the OEM/auto manufacturer and large enterprise client and lender opportunities. This position will advocate for and influence core product roadmaps by advocating the client perspective and providing combined product solutions based on our current product sets, as well as, scoping new integrations or extended configurations for specific clients.


Additionally, you will work with product and business leaders and product delivery teams in the solution groups to help articulate, define, and execute our API product configuration and integration tactics for enterprise clients.

Qualifications: *Who You Are*

Hey, if you feel like what youve already read checks a lot of boxes for you, were excited! We do want to be sure you know about a few more qualities were looking for in the person who steps into the shoes of a Solutions Specialist. So, here are a few qualifications that we hope you can bring to the party:


First, were counting on you to have a Bachelors Degree. Youll also need to have at least three years of work experience. OR we are open to an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Were also hopeful you have two years product management/engineering experience, SaaS software or online media experience and familiarity with REST API architectural style and finally, comfort reading and working with API payloads utilizing JSON. Oh, and a bit of swagger in the MS Office proficiency department is a great leg-up and experience using Postman / other API de-bugging and testing tools.


You have a proven understanding of software specification, development, testing and release practices and conversational understanding of APIs, UI, database and n-tier architecture technologies.


And while not required, here are some qualities that would really make for a good fit:

* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment

* A willingness to travel up to 50%
