As part of the Webex Suite of Collaboration Services there is a solution called UCM Cloud which focuses on the calling aspect of collaboration. As an Individual Contributor in UCM Cloud Calling Engineering you would be responsible for Implementing each customer solution and making sure each solution is validated via automation. In conjunction with the Architects, you will review each customer configuration and make sure any concerns have automation test defined and run against the solution. Analytics are critical to any cloud offering and understanding and prioritizing the ones most critical to this task is also a must. The platform supports customers working on prem and over the top off prem, therefore, understanding how the different network options affect reliability and quality of service is required.
A key focus will be to design solutions and work with other engineers to implement designs with full confidence and understanding.
Your job responsibilities:
In-depth knowledge of software development processes, tools and methodologies
Exceptional team player with the ability to quickly develop and foster stakeholder relationships, and strong collaboration skills, with demonstrated track record of working with cross-functional teams
Ability to apply extensive experience as a networking protocol specialist.
Understands advanced architecture principles and design practices.
- Exercises good judgement determining how to best achieve technical objectives of assignment.

Creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills
Strong written and verbal communication
You are a great fit for this role if you have:
5+ years of experience building real-time communication-based software
Hands on Knowledge of Call Manager applications like UCM, Unity Connection, IM&P, and Expressway as it applies to upgrade, backup and restore, provisioning, and clustering over the Wan.
Understanding of Trunking, PSTN, Dial-Plans, Networking (DNS, IP Addressing, NAT)
Understanding of security and certificates
Experience in automating release, continuous integration/deployment system, and relevant tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, Ansible etc)
Automation (Python, Java, Scripting, Jenkins, Flowable)
Experience with modern Unix/Linux operating systems/distributions.
Understand tools like PCD and how it applies to the UCMC products.
