Customer & Partner Services (CPS) is part of the larger Cisco Operations organization. CPS provides globally consistent, end-to-end sales and fulfilment services, with partner intimacy at scale. We transform our operations to accelerate Ciscos performance while we perform day to day seamlessly.

APJC Regional Operations are accountable for the Customer, Partner and Field Sales Operational Engagement, and deliver specialized services such as Deal Management and Field Services. This team is aligned to Cisco's geographic sales regions by dedicatedly partnering with our customers, partners, and field teams in the APJC Region to enable that bookings and revenue targets are achieved, and partner commerce, partner program management and administration is fully optimized.

What You'll do:

  • Point of contact for the software deals with direct engagement with deal stakeholders such as Software Sales Specialists, AM, Partner etc.
  • Partner with operations managers and the software sales teams to report out to deal stakeholders for major milestones
  • Engages with specialists to execute the successful delivery of the assigned deals
  • Partner with internal and external teams to ensure that the deal aligns with the offer and highlight deviations and ensure the deal stakeholders are aware of the pre-requisites
  • Align/Engage with other Deal Managers to ensure consistency of operational practices, review of best practices, close gaps
  • Will be responsible for working in close alignment with the software sales teams
  • Evaluates project results against success metrics. Recommends or implements changes to processes, resources and solutions that improve productivity and end product.
  • Be abreast with changes in Software Offers and their ordering processes to help navigate through complex deal scenarios
  • Be able to provide training to the Field sales, Software Sales and Regional operations team on the Offer T&Cs and Deal Pre-requisites for seamless booking and delivery


  • Accountable for the execution, health and success of managed deals
  • Follow a structured workflow management set of activities
  • Once the deal is sensed and relationship agreed with operations manager and/or DMO leader; the Deal Manager is the single point of contact for all deal related activities/updates
  • Customer facing interactions/engagements as agreed upfront
  • Responsible for continuously engaging with stakeholders to realize gaps and drive efficiencies
  • Develop Subject Matter Expertise in one or more software offers
  • Case creation, escalation, and resolution (on behalf of customer/sales)
  • Flexible skill sets to handle all type of deals

Experienced professional using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve process improvements, policies, services and practices. Works independently, receives minimal guidance; only general direction from manager then determines best approach to accomplish work. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
