Job Description

This role will lead the day-to-day social media management of two senior Executives leading Information Technology and Strategy & Digital Transformation, in order to raise their individual profiles as thought leaders of their field and enhance the reputation of PepsiCo. A background in the technology/digital space, especially major Silicon Valley players like Google, Microsoft, or Oracle, is preferred to best create relevant social content for these Executives.

Reporting to the Social & Digital Communications Manager, this position will be responsible for curating and creating content, maintaining social calendars, managing social channels and conducting performance reporting to demonstrate the impact of increased social Executive profile management. A high touch role with cross-functional impact, the ideal candidate will have experience managing several social media projects at once, while delivering them on-time with an attention detail.

Job Duties:

Manage the professional social media accounts for 2 PepsiCo Executives within IT and Strategy & Transformation, primarily across Twitter and LinkedIn.
Maintain social media calendar for respective Executives.
Work closely with the Social Media Lead/Content Strategist to ensure all content is abiding by the strategies and best practices put in place.
Amplify existing content and work closely with comms leads and PEC members to identify unique content opportunities and curate content within respective leaders focus area.
Manage content approval process and schedule all content through the CMS.
Monitor respective social media channels for comments and handle all community management.
Conduct light performance reporting on social content utilizing a reporting tool.


    • Expected salary range is $66K - $84K.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications / Requirements :
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience managing social media channels on behalf of high-profile individuals, executives, or brands.
  • Experience as a content lead (speechwriter, spokesperson, blogger, etc) for a major Silicon Valley technology company, strategy consulting firm, or for an executive responsible for technology or digital decision making at an enterprise company.
  • Subject matter expertise within the technology/digital field
  • Track record of working with cross-functional teams and managing time across multiple ongoing projects.
  • Proven ability to appropriately set senior stakeholder expectations, with confidence.
  • Knowledge of social media best practices.
  • Experience with Khoros and SocialBakers platforms are a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and communication skills a must
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Capacity to prioritize and work on multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive and resourceful with a can-do attitude
