The Senior ServiceNow DevOps Engineer / Team Lead is responsible for leading a scrum team of DevOps Engineers and SDETs, maturing the DevOps mindset within the agile teams using techniques such as Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery to provide quality products with seamless integration across Development, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure and Ops roles. This role does include the opportunity for managing direct reports on the team.

The successful candidate will be one that can adapt as necessary for unintended consequences and one that understands the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team. The successful candidate will be one who can think creatively about possible technical solutions, who is supportively assertive, is articulate and takes ownership over their work. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate deep technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and convey the ability to understand highly complex solutions within the platform.

Candidates will work in a DevOps team environment and are expected to work on both tactical and strategic assignments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead role in the delivery of ServiceNow implementation projects
  • Management of direct reports on the team (up to 3)
  • Translate technical complexities to project stakeholders, ensuring understanding of design decisions
  • Provide development coaching, technical leadership and oversight to the team resources
  • Collaborate with the delivery team and product team in an agile development environment
  • Provide operations support on a rotational basis
