AT&T is looking for a Senior System Administrator (SA) with demonstrable experience with Windows server design, implementation, and management. The SA will work with key stakeholders to develop traditional Windows server solutions for specific applications and manage those solutions throughout their lifecycle to include technology refresh every few years.

Responsibilities:
  • The SA will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of traditional servers and a small community of Windows desktop users across multiple domains.
  • Know and utilize industry standard server management practices to verify that servers remain patched, stable, and secure while working closely with information systems security personnel to verify patches and security services get applied on time and in accordance with compliance framework security requirements.
  • Have knowledge of RSA SecureID to include the following: design, build, test, deployment, and patch.
  • Be responsible for the day to day operation, administration and maintenance of the two-factor authentication system that includes hardware (servers) and software.
  • Be responsible for distributing RSA SecureID hard and soft tokens and registering users, assigning pins and passcodes. Have general knowledge of certificates and how they apply to RSA agents and appliances.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently, work well with other team members, be willing and able to learn new technologies, and take on increasing levels of responsibility.

The SA shall demonstrate these specific capabilities:

  • 10 years experience with managing Microsoft systems and networks effectively and efficiently
  • Windows 2008 R2 through Windows 2016; install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot servers
Required Skills:
  • Knowledge in Active Directory GPO and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, SQL administration, Exchange, SharePoint, and file servers
  • Manages daily activities of configuration and operation of Enterprise IT systems
  • Supports monitoring and problem resolution for workstation and server systems
  • Problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution in Windows Environment
  • Supports escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
  • Knowledge with RSA SecureID Soft tokens
  • Knowledge with RADIUS and TACACS+
Required Experience, and Education:
  • 10 years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required. Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Field experience will be evaluated in lieu of a BS degree and Security+ certification.
  • Security+ certification required.
Required Clearance:
Applicant must be a US citizen and have a current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Desired but not required:
  • Cisco ISE; administration, and troubleshooting
  • Optimizes system operations, resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis and planning
  • Supports design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
Desired Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate-Server (MCSA-Serv) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert-Server (MCSE-Serv) or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP);
  • Computer Technology Industry Association - Network + (Network +);
  • Computer Technology Industry Association - Storage + (Storage +)

Occasional travel may be required for this position
