Qualifications Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.

Responsibilities Peraton Labs is looking for an experienced software engineering leader with strong programming skills to conceive, build and enhance systems implementing large-scale cyber operations. The successful candidate will have a track record of working effectively in teams, proactively identifying issues, independently solving problems and showing thought leadership. The candidate will have excellent communication skills that facilitate collaboration on large systems development efforts. Projects within the lab will typically involve technologies such as machine learning, cyber security, virtualization, containerization, TCP/IP networking and operating system internals, thus experience with some or all of these would be a significant plus.
Main responsibilities include:
- Working with a team of scientists and engineers
- Independently solving problems in design and implementation of complex systems
- Independently conceiving system capabilities
- Designing and implementing software capabilities in C/C++
- Demonstrating capabilities to customers and effectively interfacing with customers
Primary work location is Basking Ridge, NJ. Candidates may alternatively take an office in Red Bank, NJ or Silver Spring, MD.
