Edward Jones is seeking an experienced and talented individual to help in the development and expansion of SharePoint Online. The ideal candidate is highly motivated to innovate and partner with key stakeholders to enable an increasingly mobile and collaborative workforce. As a SharePoint developer on the Technology Web Content Management team, you will help co-create and forge the enterprise SharePoint strategy and roadmap. Providing a highly available environment that aligns with industry best practices and a premium user experienceare top priorities for this group.

*Responsibility Summary:*

* [Provide technical experience in the planning and execution of the enterprise SharePoint strategy]()
* Actively lead and support the deployment of SharePoint modern intranet and Team sites in SharePoint Online
* Manage web content regulatory archival, website responsive design, security and usability solutions
* Maintain highly available systems and infrastructure, quickly triage any user impacting event
* Partner with key vendors and areas across the firm to provide appropriate technology solutions
* Support the user community through direct communication and high touch interactions
* Provide technical mentorship to peers and junior associates
* Align development and deliverables with the firm's strategic direction

*Qualifications Required in the Job:*

* Expert level proficiency in SharePoint Online development and/or administration
* Proven background in design, implementation, migration and support of SharePoint Online
* Demonstrated experience planning and leading large-scale SharePoint migrations
* Established expertise building and executing within the SharePoint Framework
* Strong knowledge of and experience with SharePoint workflow processes and Power Platform capabilities
* Proficiency with front-end technologies - JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5/CSS3 and frameworks like React.js
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems preferred or equivalent experience
* Seven or more years of experience directly related to information systems
* Detailed understanding of project management methodologies, system development lifecycle, infrastructure best practices, risk management concepts and capacity planning
* Strong willingness to learn and apply new and emerging technologies
