Our team is looking for a ServiceNow Practitioner with deep subject matter expertise related to ServiceNow product integration and automation. Experience with CMDB, IT Asset Management, Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request in Service Now is required. Experience with complementary technologies, such as VBScript, SQL, PowerShell, Orchestration, and Scripting is very helpful. The Practitioner will be a key member of the overall Enterprise Services Management team and assist with all technical aspects of the ServiceNow implementation project and solution delivery.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop integrations between the companys Service Now system and other company systems.
  • Develop integrations, reports, dashboards, and processes required to maintain the quality of data in our CMDB.
  • Develop ServiceNow screens, workflow, scheduled jobs, transform maps, and scripting.
  • Develop automated solutions for common IT activities. Operations, Security, Administration, Data Management, and others on the ServiceNow platform following industry best practices and standards.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of business processes as well as the maturing of the IT automated services portfolio, capabilities, expertise, best practices, and solutions.
  • Solve complex Integration challenges and debug complex configuration issues.
  • Review functional requirements and determine the type of integration work that is required based on the business needs.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot production and test issues; perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective action, and lead the resolution efforts.
  • Document problems and their resolution.
  • Technical writing/creation of formal documentation such as architecture diagrams, technical designs, test plans, and SOPs
  • Perform off-hours maintenance and deployments for system releases and provide 24x7 support to maintain service availability.

  • Qualifications
    • 5 Years of ServiceNow Development Experience required
    • ServiceNow skills required include
      • Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, Forms, UI Pages
      • Data Sources, Transform Maps, Catalog Items, Service Portal, Workflow Orchestration, Webservices (Rest and Soap), Reporting, Performance Analytics Metrics
      • JavaScript, Jelly, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, XML, Scoped Application Development, Studio, Platform Debugging tools
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline OR equivalent relevant experience
