*We are seeking two Senior Reputation Management Specialists to join our team! Please apply to this role if your background aligns to either or both of these positions. *

*The first role is focused on Thought Leadership: *
We seek a senior-level reputation management specialist to join the Reputation Management department to help grow and mature a standard setting Thought Leadership function for the firm, communicating Edward Jones' purpose through our executive thought leaders and reach a broader audience in an all stakeholder model. This position is responsible for managing speaking engagements, awards and rankings, social media and traditional media opportunities for firmwide executive thought leaders and next-generation leaders.

Responsibilities include:
* Position senior leadership as industry thought leaders through national and local speaking engagements and awards & ranking opportunities to further extend the firm and its thought leadership impact.
* Maintain relationships with key media outlets and influencers to help identify opportunities to drive coverage to support Thought Leadership programs and help build the brand in the minds of clients, investors and potential associates.

*The second role is focused on Retiree Engagement: *
We seek a senior-level reputation management specialist to join the Reputation Management department and lead proactive and reactive retiree communication, engagement and measurement. This position is responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to engage and activate the firm's alumni network of more than 4,000 retirees as a demonstration of our commitment to the firm's culture of caring and purpose.

Responsibilities include:
* Lead a retiree steering group including representation from various business areas of the firm and retirees to ensure relevant engagement strategies.
* Write and edit a broad range of retiree-facing communication including an alumni newsletter that will influence and help align business objectives and activities.
* Build content in and coordinate community management on retiree communication channel(s) -- including the firm's Social Impact Tool and Intranet portal (partnerships with Your Cause Blackbaud and Social Chorus). Participate in channel product reviews to test enhancements and system upgrades, track issues and implement solutions for continuous improvement.

*Other responsibilities for both roles: *
* Lead projects to develop communication strategies that will influence and help align business objectives and activities.
* Manage deliverables through rigorous internal editorial, business area and compliance review, while ensuring messages meet the needs of a target audience.
* At leader's direction, assist with evaluation of communication effectiveness and results reporting to stakeholders. Accountable for communication metrics.
* Write and edit a broad range of external- and internal-facing communications.
* Effectively build relationships to achieve business outcomes. Influence business area leaders and associates and provide guidance on goals, key messages and targeting to deliver content for a variety of audiences and channels. Serve on virtual teams that cross multiple divisions.

*Preferred qualifications for either/both roles: *
* Possess a strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital technologies.
* Demonstrated ability to take complicated topics and develop clear communications that inform and educate target audience.
* Prefer experience working with alumni networks, external stakeholder relations, etc. (specific to retiree engagement)
* Prefer experience working closely with senior level executives.
* Web publishing experience is preferred.
* Prefer experience working with Social Impact Tool (Your Cause Blackbaud) and Social Chorus, or another similar intranet platform. (specific to retiree engagement)

*Minimum qualifications for both roles: *
* Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, marketing or related field; or equivalent work experience is required.
* 7+ years of experience in a writing/communication position with experience leading projects.
* Excellent writing and editing skills.
* Working knowledge of communication principles, tools, and design elements.
* Outstanding organizational and program management skills; able to manage competing priorities.
* Demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines. Must be flexible and work within a dynamic environment.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver the right results, use seasoned judgment, think strategically, champion change and build networks and partnerships.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
