As a Senior Report Analyst, youll use your critical thinking and analytical skills to create client business reviews and perform ad-hoc analytics for Workers Comp division customers. Youll serve as the reporting lead on your assigned client accounts, driving innovation and enhancement for established reports, and creating new reporting solutions as needed. Youll proactively identify data trends and issues, and support internal customers and data initiatives. Well also look to you to make solid recommendations based on your analyses, and provide explanations for reporting results and program trends.

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Deliver client and internal analytics through monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting activities
  • ""
  • Support client relationship building, and overall project management of analytic deliverables
  • ""
  • Deliver analytic results and reporting products to Account Management and internal customers, and lead them through interpretation of the results
  • ""
  • Define, develop and refine methodologies, tools and templates to allow for the successful execution of analytic deliverables
  • ""
  • Support the ongoing development of the Informatics Group capabilities by sharing innovative approaches and solutions with the broader team
  • ""
  • Develop and maintain appropriate documentation regarding analytic approaches, metric definitions, etc.
  • ""
  • Other Informatics group projects as directed by Informatics leadership

Required Qualifications:

    ""
  • BA/BS in Accounting/Finance, Business, MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • ""
  • 3+ years of experience performing data analysis
  • ""
  • 3+ years reporting experience from a business perspective
  • ""
  • 2+ years providing analytical support, mainly to account management teams
  • ""
  • Experience with SQL reports
  • ""
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets, formulas), Microsoft Access (creating and using databases), and Microsoft PowerPoint (creating presentations and viewing)
  • ""
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
