Qualifications
Requires BA/BS with 10 years of experience with at least 4 years of management level responsibility. Incumbent has specialized knowledge in at least one area of expertise and a general knowledge in 1-2 other areas.
PMP certification required
Experience managing similarly scoped contract with similar organizational impacts and tasking in a healthcare or CMS environment required
Experience managing data warehouse projects required
Experience managing Agile scrum teams required
Experience with CMMi development practices is beneficial
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

Peraton has an immediate need in our Health Payer Segment for a Senior Project Manager/Deputy Program Manager to support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Integrated Data Repository (IDR) Cloud Migration Contract. The position is remote. Ability to achieve Public Trust Clearance is required. Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder who has worked in the US three out of the past five years. Candidate must be able to drive to the CMS client site in Baltimore, MD for occasional meetings.
The Integrated Data Repository (IDR) is the centerpiece of CMS Enterprise Data Warehouse Strategy. The IDR responds to the Agencys critical need to have an integrated data environment that contains Medicare and Medicaid data (e.g. claims, beneficiary, provider, and plan data). The underlying technology of the IDR is Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse which is being migrated to a Snowflake AWS Cloud data warehouse.
POSITION OVERVIEW:The position requires the individual to manage project managers and associated teams to expand, maintain and improve the Integrated Data Repository (IDR) enterprise data warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and control multiple project teams in support of the IDR O&M contract following Agile scrum and DevSecOps processes
Responsible for providing the broad vision and direction to ensure that the teams efforts produce deliverables that meets CMS needs and goals
Point of contact with CMS for all program-wide and event-specific issues
Coordinate activities of the Project Manager, Leads, and Data Warehouse Architect to ensure the on-time delivery
Review final work products to ensure high quality, client-ready deliverables
Develop project plans at appropriate level for the project complexity
Manage client relationships
Conduct status meetings with stakeholders
Meet project commitments
Control scope of contract/projects
Manage project execution
Monitor and control risks
Facilitate resolution of issues
Prepare project status reports
Mentor and encourage skill development of project team members
Provide performance review input and development recommendations for team members
Support project audits as required
Reports to the IDR O&M contract Program Director
