DIRECTV Marketing is looking for an innovative and experienced Senior Paid Search Analyst to join our Performance Marketing team.


The Performance Marketing team is a unique group within the company focused on driving DIRECTV prospect acquisition, buying digital media across search, display, social and affiliate platforms. The team works closely with Dotcom Sales, Creative Development, Analytics, Finance and external agencies and acquisition partners to maximize margin-rich, prospect acquisition stimulated from digital media. This position will apply highly advanced skills in the use of multivariate analysis, clustering/segmentation analysis, test and control experimentation, trend analysis and other statistical or data analysis techniques to analyze large data files from both internal and external sources to explain or predict behavior and/or solve a variety of business problems.


**Key responsibilities:**


+ Inform the development of paid search execution and testing strategies both with external 3 rd party organization and internal direct in-house agency

+ Accelerate growth in paid search and contribute to integrated planning to create a unified and seamless prospect experience across alternate and direct channels to attain gross add targets

+ Create incrementality benchmarks and ensure appropriate test execution to maximize efficient incremental gross add yield across SEM/SEO tactics

+ Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis

+ Help establish bidding strategies and inform ad copy development; influence ad tech for proper data capture

+ Monitor and QA campaign performance; optimize, flag, scale campaigns; support analysis with Analytics team

+ Develop reports, charts, tables and other visual aids in support of findings


+ Advanced college degree in statistics and/or computer science, business analytics nanodegree, or related expertise

+ 5-8 years experience in relational database structures, testing methods and sampling techniques

+ Considered an expert leader with senior level technical expertise who articulates concepts to executive leadership and stakeholders throughout organization and industry


**Preferred Qualifications**


+ Expert knowledge of Google and Bing platforms and capabilities

+ Experience with A/B and multivariant testing

+ In-depth knowledge of various analytics suites e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), PPC bid optimization tools (eg, Adobe Ad Cloud Search, Google SA360) and DMPs (eg, AAM, BlueKai)
