The Change Management Senior Manager plays a key role in supporting successful and efficient organizational change that meets the companys vision and mission. The Change Management Manager focuses on the people side of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary focus is on creating conditions for a smooth transition to changes, while maximizing employee engagement. Objective is to drive faster adoption, greater utilization and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the organization to achieve the required business results.


Responsibilities Establishes relationships with the customers to understand their business needs and initiatives. Develops a set of actionable and targeted change management plans, including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan. Applies a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side on all projects and change efforts. Collaborates with appropriate teams on plans and activities to integrate change management activities and support project implementation. Uncovers and voices different perspectives of the change. Conducts readiness assessments, evaluates results and presents findings in a logical and easy to understand manner. Champions project management methodology to provide expertise on multiple complex initiatives. Determines short and long-term courses of action that support the overall mission. Considers customer needs, industry trends, the competitive environment and long term organizational goals when making decisions and setting priorities. Creates and manages measurement systems to track implementation, utilization, and proficiency of changes. Identifies the most expected points of resistance to change. Develops strategies to reduce the resistance and uncertainty to foster a positive acceptance of change within the organization Creates and enables reinforcements and celebrations of success to increase employee engagement and buy-in. Identifies and evaluates potential risks associated with alternatives or decisions. Determine the activities, steps and adjustments necessary to deal effectively with the defined risk. Perform internal organization responsibilities as the business needs arises.


*Position Responsibilities:*

* Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.

* Identify and employ a change management methodology for project initiatives

* Identify potential risks, anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.

* Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings

* Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan.

* Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes.

* Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions

* Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.


*Skills and Competencies*

* Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.

* Experience with large-scale organizational change effort.

* Lead and implement change initiatives related to business processes and technologies.

* Drive adoption and proficiency of changes within the organization in compliance with established Change Management methodologies.

* Develop project strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment, communications, leadership alignment, organization transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training.

* Oversee team execution in accordance with project plans, tools, and methods, and support resource planning and acquisition.

* Develop short and long-term goals, KPIs, objectives, and develop and execute against annual operational plan.

* Lead/facilitate meetings with customers/leaders to ensure an understanding of the current company culture, and jointly develop a change adoption plan.

* Provide direct support and coaching to leaders as they help their direct reports through transitions.

* Facilitate change management activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to understand and ensure adoption of the department transformation.

* Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, presentation and critical thinking skills

* Demonstrates ability to build relationships and interact with senior management and key partner groups

* Ability to influence others and move toward a common goal or vision

* Ability to make decisions with long term implications

* Must be a leader who can influence stakeholders in written and oral communications

* Knowledge of organizations current technologies and practices and understanding of strategic direction

* Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.

* Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.


Qualifications:
* BA or BS Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology

* 5+ years of experience in organizational change management program design and implementation

* 5+ years of experience in project management and resource management


*Preferred:*

* Change Management Professional and/or Project Manager certification
