*Cox Automotive* is currently looking for a* Senior Marketing Analytics* *Manager* to join our team in *Atlanta, Georgia, Burlington, Vermont, North Hills, New York, Mission, Kansas, Dallas, Texas, Draper, Utah or Irvine, California.*
*Your Role:*
Were seeking an innovative, collaborative, data-driven Senior Manager that understands multi-channel marketing approach and the value of leveraging data to make business, client and budgeting decisions. If you have experience in these areas, this role may be for you!
Your analytical skills and digital marketing experience will help Marketing gain important insights into and across various digital marketing channels - and then use these insights to support the development of marketing strategies and tactics to drive improved results and increase marketing ROI. Key tasks will include aligning with internal analytics leads to forecast monthly traffic and business goals, monitoring said goals daily, and making recommendations accordingly. Additionally, the Senior Manager is responsible for leading the test and learn and targeted initiatives, identifying optimization opportunities and high-value segmentation strategies. This individual will collaborate with Marketing and agency partners in crafting comprehensive test and / or target plans, activating within publishers and establishing a robust measurement structure, inclusive of insights and recommendations.
The successful candidate will act as the "go to" for data and reporting needs. They will also support the development and reporting of business and diagnostic metrics related to digital marketing plans. The Senior Manager will support the development of insights, recommendations, and results to socialize plans and outcomes with senior management and stakeholders. Having a combination of strong analytical, problem-solving, data manipulation skill and experience and the ability to synthesize analytic findings into actionable strategic recommendations within the interactive/digital marketing space will be critical for the success of this role.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Be a Leader

* Mine data to surface strategies to improve ROI and overall campaign performance, providing investment guidance and optimization insights across marketing programs, channels, and tactics
* Use data-based analytics to identify and resolve issues relating to all areas of the business
* Utilize predictive analytics to assess future risk and identify potential new opportunities
* Recognize the connection between the business operations and analytics to influence business strategies and solutions
* Help guide the long range, annual and seasonal marketing strategies
Be a Collaborator

* Partner with agency to create and deliver daily and weekly reports on digital marketing tests for leadership and communicate results through email and presentations
* Partner with internal Analytics team on overall business monthly goal forecasting, while ensuring those goals are met from marketing perspective, making recommendations on necessary shifts accordingly.
* Design experiments, in partnership with agency, to answer targeted questions supporting a Test and Learn environment
* Deliver key business analytics to leadership and help optimize marketing efforts towards the business targets
* Work with teams to ensure necessary data infrastructure is in place to track and optimize marketing campaign appropriately
* Use data and analytics to drive collaboration across teams
Be Innovative

* Identify innovative ways for measuring and improving customer engagement
* Be the primary driver of cross channel measurement including media mix modeling and attribution
* Be able to identify root causes of problems and find creative approach and solve
* Establish innovative strategies to understand and solve complex analytics programs; reach valuable data-driven insights through the discovery of patterns and trends
Be a Storyteller

* Produce dashboards for campaign performance reviews with commentary and recommendations
* Present monthly to Senior Executive Team, showcasing monthly results in a storytelling format.
* Document projects including business objectives, data gathering and processing, as well as detailed set of results and analytical metrics
* Support leadership in aligning marketing insights and recommendation with the overall strategic plan for the business
Other Responsibilities

* Report on, analyze performance of, contribute to establishment of measurement structure and derive user insights for digital marketing activities including but not limited to paid search, social media, CRM, display, native, etc.
* Analyze key performance indicators and make recommendations to improve efficiency
* Make recommendations for tests to conduct based on performance analysis and consumer insights
* Conduct ad-hoc analysis by pulling data from multiple sources including historical performance, trends and benchmarking
* Deliver key business analytics to help optimize for existing marketing goals
* Identify program milestones, dependencies, and challenges to proactively address potential issues, and identifies key insights for optimization of programs performance in-flight and through campaign completion
* Design, conduct and leads process that facilitates complex analyses that mine, extract, track, report and analyze performance metrics and other data source systems and summarize findings

* Bachelors Degree in related field and 7+ years of experience working in analytic, digital and integrated marketing channels including digital marketing agency or corporation; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
*Preferred Qualifications:*

* Expertise in understanding marketing integration between CRM, Direct, Social media, Search, Brand, Paid Media, etc.
* Extensive experience with web/digital analysis and related software (e.g., Adobe Analytics / Omniture and Google Analytics)
* Ability to performance basic statistical analysis (descriptive, variance, regression, probability, etc.) and general understanding of advanced statistics
* Experience demonstrating knowledge of digital and traditional media channels for communications plans
* Data analytics with ability to leverage marketing technology tools to develop reports and highlight key learnings to drive optimizations, channel and partner recommendations
* Must be a self-starter and quick learner with the desire to learn new tools and techniques
* Must be adept at various scoring methodologies and data analysis
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to help articulate business needs and outcomes
* Ability to consult and influence as a Subject Matter Expert for the best outcomes to drive broad business successes
* Ability to anticipate stakeholders needs and recognize the opportunity to provide proactive insights to build tight thought partnership
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-driven atmosphere
* Experience successfully collaborating on complex analytics projects involving a matrix of cross-functional teams
* Must be a critical thinker capable of producing applied insights and problem-solving
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Datorama
