Responsibilities

Successful candidate will develop and manage quality control system plans, specifications, and procedures including nondestructive testing, calibration and recall systems, and controlled assembly practice for programs related to Navy platforms, systems, subsystems, components and appurtenances. Serve as a senior advisor regarding criteria for system acceptance, waiver, and deviation.

Qualifications

  • BS required in Aerospace, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Marine (Ocean) Engineering or Naval Architecture. MS in one of those fields preferred.
  • Ten years experience in leading the research, development, test and evaluation of Navy platforms, systems, subsystems and components, five years of which are directly attributable to quality assurance and control.
  • Familiar with ISO9000 SUBSAFE, Deep Submergence System, or Fly-by-Wire auditing regulation and standards.
  • Fully proficient with office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Secret clearance.
