**Role Summary**

Pfizer and BioNTech's breakthrough COVID-19 vaccine is launched all around the world with Conditional Marketing Authorization (CMA) in the EU and Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) in the US and other regions/countries.

Like other COVID-19 vaccines approved during the pandemic period, current market access for Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine has been through supply agreements in 2021.

Although our understanding of the disease epidemiology, virus mutations and duration of protection of vaccines continue to evolve; in the post-pandemic period, it's likely that COVID-19 vaccinations may be an annual vaccination, potentially like flu. In the post-pandemic market dynamics, vaccine uptake will be dependent on numerous commercial brand interdependencies and driving market and patient-centric opportunities for our vaccine.

The Sr Manager U.S. COVID Marketing role will be responsible for executing various brand initiatives across consumer & HCP. This role will also support the development of messages and resources for the brand. Additionally, this person will support pre- BLA launch and launch efforts, working collaboratively with key Global stakeholders execute EUA label changes as well as the evolution of the brand post BLA approval. As the work evolves, priorities change, and needs arise, the individual will need to flex across several content areas to support/drive the work. It's a fast-paced, collaborative environment that requires an organized colleague with operational US Marketing experience (vaccines preferred) and the ability to navigate the organization and get things done.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

+ Lead the implementation of HCP marketing strategies, tactics and initiatives to drive brand growth.

+ Lead RC as US RC Captain: oversee RC discussions with a strategic eye toward long-term implications, set and implement RC norms, tighten schedule, ensure conclusions are clearly communicated, prioritize what's going into RC when, ensure quality control in both the process and level of conversation

+ In partnership with the HCP marketing lead & digital team support media presence and multi-channel platforms, and partner with agencies and vendors to deliver initiatives and tactics aligned to brand strategy

+ Support planning and execution of Sales meetings to maximize engagement, including communication of core marketing strategies and tactics

+ Communicate closely with BioPharma Ops and agency partners to create and implement promotional and educational resources for HCPs and Patients

+ Work with Sales Leadership and Pfizer training to identify training needs and build/implement plans across the EUA and BLA timeframe

+ Collaborate with Global counterpart to embrace 'Glocal' implementation of programs and initiatives, including label updates

+ Continuously measure the impact of marketing initiatives, generating early learning, and driving continuous improvement in order to achieve budget

+ Conduct all responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, with a strong adherence to our Values including compliance.


+ Bachelor's degree

+ 5+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, majority of which in the US

+ Ability to work independently across senior level stakeholders and demonstrates judgement of what needs to be escalated

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)

+ Robust analytical/planning skills and ability to multi-task under pressure

+ Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity

+ Solid understanding of today's Global and US pharmaceutical environment, incl. Regulatory, Legal and Compliance

+ Commitment to compliance and winning the right way

+ Proven success in influence/negotiation; able to build and maintain productive relationships

+ Team player who puts the needs of the team above her/his own and can spark JOY


+ MBA, MPH preferred

+ Vaccines and/or buy and bill business experience
