What You'll Do

Senior product manager will focus on transforming service provider business from a traditional hardware centric to one of software and recurring model.  You will have an opportunity to work on pricing, new business models, technology roadmap as well as defining new processes to transform our business. 

Who You'll Work With

Senior product manager will report to the director of product management in the Service Provider organization.  You will have an opportunity to work with cross functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, IT, Customer Experience, Marketing, Legal, Finance and manufacturing where you will motivate and inspire them to support align with our new business model.

Who You Are

General responsibilities include:

• Help transition Service Provider hardware centric business model to software and recurring subscription

• Refine and define new business models by evaluating pricing, software packages, and go to market strategies
• Support platform teams to ensure success in the transition process
• Define new feature requirements for IOS-XR operating system as well as Cisco Smart Software Manager (smart licensing system)
• Work with Technical Marketing Engineers to develop technical documents to help assist Sales in deploying Cisco Flexible Consumption Model
• Present to internal customers as well as end customer customers on the value of Flexible Consumption Model
• Support deals including developing strategy for Service Provider Network Agreement (Enterprise Agreements)

You will have/must be:

• Grit and determination.  Good critical thinking skills that can help solve problems.
• 7+ year of product management experience from roadmap planning and pricing
• Demonstrated track record to lead virtual teams.  Ability to work well with others as this role requires interaction with cross functional teams
• Knowledge of service provider market, networking, mobile or software business models is preferred. 
• MBA is a plus
