*Cox Automotive* is currently looking for a *Senior Manager, Product Marketing* to join our team in* Atlanta, GA*.

*The Role:*

Cox Automotive is looking for an experienced marketing professional to lead the Manheim Product & Solutions Marketing team, which is part of the Manheim Marketing organization. The Senior Manager will own the strategic product marketing support for all revenue-driving products and solutions offered by Manheim and its end-to-end solutions and brands. This role leads a team of three full-time employees - two Senior Product Marketing Managers and one Product Marketing Manager.

The Senior Manager, Product Marketing fully owns the strategic marketing programs for new and existing Manheim products and solutions within Manheim - including product launch marketing, dealer communications, advertising, brand strategy and promotions - appropriately conceived to support Manheims business objectives. The leader partners with the Product organization and business stakeholders to understand the business priorities, product value, target audiences and timing of new or enhanced product launches. The incumbent is then responsible for defining the product marketing strategy and go-to-market plans for all core and ancillary Manheim products - from the Manheim Marketplace, Vehicle Information, Recon, Assurance, Logistics, and Decisioning. The leader will determine how to align the product marketing strategy according to business priorities, objectives and product revenue goals, and is a key driver of ensuring that marketing is helping Manheim meet and exceed the annual performance goals.

This position requires the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and resources in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated understanding of the functions of a robust marketing department and/or agency, including website content management, branding, marketing, research and creative development and must be self-motivated, organized, flexible and possess the ability to complete projects within aggressive timeframes.


The Senior Manager, Product Marketing is responsible for development of Product Marketing strategy for Manheim, supervision of the Product Marketing team, and implementation and execution of marketing programs to support the goals and objectives of Manheim. The incumbent is responsible for:

*Manheim Product Marketing:*

* Develop and execute product marketing strategies and outreach plans for the Manheim Marketplace, Vehicle Information, Recon, Assurance, Logistics and Decisioning solution groups:

* Partner with business stakeholders and product readiness peers to have a full understanding of the Manheim core products and solutions and translate the solutions and product enhancements into core audience (dealer and portfolio owner clients) benefits

* Partners closely with business partners and other business units within CAI - like Lot Vision, RideKleen, NextGear Capital and Fyusion (Vehicle Information) to understand opportunities for cross-Cox product marketing, targeting and lead generation

* Develop a robust product marketing strategy and messaging architecture for Manheim

* Works closely with the product marketing cross-functional team to bring the Manheim product and solution marketing strategy to life

* Partners closely with the Content marketing team to brief creative teams, define content marketing strategy and align on the customer-centric messaging and design

* Partners with the channel marketing team to plan robust, omnichannel campaign plans that define where and when to get the product marketing messages out to market

* Partners with the data analytics team to measure impact and performance of all product marketing campaigns

* Orchestrate cohesive marketing messaging to tell the Manheim benefits and drive dealer understanding and usage of our products and solutions

* Partner closely with the Manheim Brand team - keep them informed of the Manheim product strategy, business goals, product highlights and messaging architecture so that these messages are driving the Manheim brand campaigns and media placements

* Develops cohesive quarterly product marketing plans for each group and ladders all initiatives up to the product portfolio or business line level, and ensures alignment with Manheims core strategic business goals and revenue targets

* Shares out product marketing wins, performance metrics and highlights with broad stakeholder group across the Manheim business

* People Management

* Leads, motivates and develops three full-time team members - two Sr. Product Marketing Managers and one Product Marketing Manager

* Provides strategic direction and daily feedback on marketing executional tactics and acts as point of escalation for any stakeholder needs

* Determines split of work between Sr Product Marketing Managers and Product Marketing Manager and sets clear expectations for team members


* BA/BS in related field and 10+ years of experience in marketing or advertising fields or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

* Experience in product marketing, digital and eCommerce marketing preferred

* Team leadership experience (3+ years) required

* Demonstrated success in leading and building high performing teams that are focused on delivering business results

* Demonstrated success in a brand/product marketing or brand/product strategy role - proven success in driving growth for brands or products

* Demonstrated success in brand, product or solution positioning and go-to-market plans

* Demonstrated success in product marketing adoption and retention planning

* Experience with transforming businesses

* Collaborative skills - this role will partner heavily with both internal and external stakeholders

* Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams as part of a leadership team

* Communication skills - written and verbal - the ability to communicate the brand and product benefits and editorial in a way that resonates and moves our clients is crucial and support reputation management needs

*Professional skills should include:*

* Strong leadership and relationship building skills

* Client-centric marketing approach - should have experience with client research and using insights to drive brand/marketing strategy

* Tech-savvy - Comfortable with all Microsoft Office suite tools

* Significant experience in managing creative resources (internal or external agencies)

* Strong presentation, storytelling and writing skills

* Experience managing stakeholder relationships (internal or external)
