*ROLE SUMMARY *


The *Senior Manager of Marketing & Leads
Sciences* will be a critical member of the Marketing Sciences team
responsible for Cox Communications residential efforts to develop an
analytically driven unified media/message mix and comprehensive marketing
investment optimization strategy.
Combining the knowledge of investment and impact modeling, message
mix/creative analysis techniques, advanced analytical skills, as well as a
solid aptitude of the media landscape will enable Cox to dramatically improve
its marketing efficiency and effectiveness. This Senior Manager will partner
with external and internal teams creative, marketing mix & attribution
modeling partners and agencies, such as Analytic Partners, Visual IQ, FCB and
iProspect/Vizeum; Customer and Non-Customer Strategy, Brand, Consumer Insights,
and Sales Strategy. This member will
lead day-to-day management of high-impact initiatives to deliver on key
marketing measurement enhancements and new partner on-boarding.








*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES *



* Drive
execution and play a key management role on the Marketing Sciences team by
assisting in the development and leading the implementation of a data driven
roadmap around unified media & creative impact analysis that helps address marketing
challenges and improve effectiveness

* Institutionalize
the use of attribution & marketing mix models, analysis and automated data
collection processes to support ongoing marketing optimization needs for the
business

* Partner
with agencies to leverage cutting-edge data, modeling and analytic solutions
that deliver insights that help the organization understand media/creative
performance and collaborate on recommendations for future marketing investment
strategies

* Manage
the development of end-to-end creative performance solution, providing guidance
for key stakeholders on how to connect the dots across creative research
methods, establish key success metrics, and develop ongoing benchmarks and best
practices for in-market performance assessment & creative optimization

* Help
scope and oversee development of automated leads reporting dashboard to provide
real-time performance insights across consumer segments, regions and sales
channels; deliver key insights in monthly Senior Executive forum

* Develop
& manage measurement roadmaps to provide continued enhancements to
leads/conversion performance transparency & marketing optimization
opportunities

* Lead
forecasting trends across business drivers (competitive, economic, sales call
volume, site traffic, etc.) and identify opportunities for driving business
growth across customer leads and conversions

* Support
the strategic planning process by providing forecasts, analysis and direction
on optimal media investment levels to hit business goals

* Translate
and clearly communicate sophisticated, action-oriented, insightful, and
analytical information to varying audiences

* Responsible
for delivery of statistically sound marketing performance analysis and
high-quality executive-level readouts to key internal/external stakeholders

* Perform
quality checks on attribution/marketing mix modeling output to ensure validity
and business sense



























Qualifications:



*Required*:



* 7+
years of market research experience using advanced analytics to drive
business/marketing results in, ideally, multiple information-dense,
consumer-facing industries (e.g., consumer packaged goods, retail, financial
services, telecommunications)

* Extensive
analytic experience in attribution, marketing mix modeling, identity resolution
and other cross-media & creative measurement solutions/techniques

* Solid
knowledge of the media landscape as it pertains to advertising, including
experience working with media/creative agencies, online & offline buying
dynamics, and media performance metrics

* Demonstrated
ability to develop and apply information-driven analytic approaches to solve
strategic business questions in a practical manner with tangible results

* Ability
to break down and connect disparate data sources into a straightforward,
insightful and compelling story

* Excellent
diagnostic skills to analyze and identify discrepancies within sophisticated
models and effectively give guidance to troubleshoot

* Effective
at prioritizing and managing multiple complex projects while working
independently

* Ability
to manage up, proactively communicating key progress updates and potential
roadblocks with Senior Director

* Strong
collaborative skills to work effectively with teams across the organization

* Demonstrate
excellent verbal and written communication, and are comfortable presenting to
large groups

* Self-motivated
to take initiative and maintain high expectations for quality work that
delivers on needs of the internal/external stakeholders

* Creative
thinker offering innovative and out-of-the-box solutions to complex problems

* Strong
work ethic with the ability to adapt to the situation, be flexible, resourceful
and nimble in terms of work planning, and the ability to think quickly on your
feet

* Bachelors
and/or MBA

* Strong
handle on media and technology landscape


* 4
or more years of experience in leading complex, cross functional projects
preferred

* Experience
in telecommunications industry desired
