Cox Automotive is currently hiring a Senior Manager M&A/Integrations Process Owner to join our team in Atlanta.

The Senior Manager, M&A & Integration Owner is a critical leadership position that oversees the delivery and support for integration projects across Enterprise Finance & Accounting (EF&A), including mergers & acquisitions (M&A), from deal due diligence stage to integration and synergy through the close-out stage. This position reports directly to Senior Director, Finance Continuous Process Improvement and serves as a business enablement partner by engaging with business leaders within the company to anticipate organizational needs, and by planning and delivering seamless integrations of business units/companies into the Cox Automotive EF&A service delivery footprint.

This position will be responsible for leading all aspects of Cox Automotive M&A & Integration initiatives for EF&A. The scope includes Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Internal Controls, and Corporate Finance. This position will focus on centralization, standardization, and optimization across policies, process, data, reporting, systems security, compliance, and financial controls. This role will act as the single EF&A point of contact for M&A governance, and will partner with Technology, People Solutions, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Real Estate, and Cox Automotive Business Units. It will focus on performance for a team of ~2 M&A & Integration professionals, including embedding a culture of excellence and best-in-class customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, M&A integration, change management, governance, and communication experience in a global organization, with a track record leading a high performing team and implementing best practices.

*What Youll Do:*

Due Diligence (DD):

* Single point of contact for all stages of EF&A due diligence (DD)

* Utilize DD playbook; ensure that project plans and work products are based on approved requirements

* Participate in DD calls, provide status updates, escalate to stakeholders when / if necessary

* Coordinate data room submissions and information sharing

* Engage with key stakeholders across EF&A Centers of Excellence on findings

* Quality of Earnings coordination and read-outs with assigned EF&A subject matter experts

* Coordinate EF&A budget requirements/inputs into deal-book

* Direct day-to-day activities of the M&A & Integration function


* Single point of contact for all stages of EF&A integration

* Conduct integration planning, utilizing integration playbook to ensure that project plans and work products are based on approved requirements

* Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop project plans, schedule resources, monitor and report progress, resolve issues, mitigate risk, and deliver organizational change grounded in people, process technology, and governance

* Participate in integration calls, provide status updates, escalate to stakeholders when / if necessary

* Update all process docs (workbook, RAID log, etc.). Build out and maintain integration repositories

* Ensure the prioritization and balance of integration activities to minimize disruption of the existing business of the acquired company, while also driving changes to achieve committed synergies

* Drive EF&A subject matter experts towards timely task and deliverables completion, while tracking issues and risks and developing remediation plans to quickly recover from timeline slippage

* Support integration budget process, including creation, tracking, reporting, and measuring

Leadership & Organizational Development:

* Lead a team of 2 Sr. Analysts to support all of Cox Automotive M&A & Integration activities

* Lead simultaneous integration initiatives, ensuring prioritization based on business needs and strategic objectives

* Partner with internal stakeholders to drive governance and business partner relationships, including shared objectives

* Develop and implement goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to all aspects of the group, in partnership with operations. Responsible for tracking and meeting those goals and ensuring adherence to those policies and procedures

* Identify, govern, prioritize, and adjudicate technology enhancements, partnering with Technology to build and support the deployment of ongoing roadmap of solutions

* Works with internal and external auditors annually and/or as needed based on their requests for information

Qualifications: *Who You Are:*

BA/BS in Business, Finance and/or Accounting

10years of experience with continuous improvement, project management, and finance

OR equivalent combination of education and experience

5+years of accounting or finance experience required

5+ years of M&A integration experience required, including deal due diligence

Big 4 experience a plus

Proven ability to influence and to collaborate at the highest levels of corporate management

Experience with project management - PMP a plus

Experience driving organizational change - including large scale transformation initiatives

Proven track record in successfully leading high performing teams with tight deadlines and improving efficiencies

Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service

Demonstrated financial analysis strength

Experience in managing large-scale, high volume financial systems and multiple finance functions

Experience within a Center of Excellence environment a plus

Global experience in a multinational organization a plus

Strong knowledge of GAAP

Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials
