**ROLE SUMMARY**

The Senior Manager of New Product Introduction and Technology Transfer heads an organization within PGS Andover Site Technical Services (STS) which oversees the introduction of new products to the PGS Andover drug substance manufacturing site through technology transfer and product lifecycle support. New product introduction to the Andover site typically begins with the production of clinical trial materials (CTMs) and continues through product licensure and launch. The incumbent also has ownership of business processes and technical programs supporting technology transfer, process validation, and drug substance production readiness.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Manage group of project team leaders and project managers overseeing technology transfer, process validation, pre-approval inspection readiness, and production readiness effort

+ Establish, maintain, and improve business processes supporting technology transfer and new product introduction through partnership with site stakeholders, Pfizer R&D/Global Supply network partners, and external/industry partners

+ Develop and maintain technical programs supporting technology transfer and process validation to ensure continuing conformance with Pfizer quality system, site quality programs, and regulatory requirements

+ Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams in areas including, but are not limited to, product manufacturability, regulatory strategy, technology transfer, process/production technologies, production readiness, manufacturing logistics, and product launch logistics

+ Integrate environmental, health, and safety considerations into work processes and promote safety culture among the workforce

+ Responsible for site-level new product / technology transfer strategy and risk management; point of contact for new product / technology transfer project status reporting as well as risk communication and escalation to site and above site governances

+ Contribute to the Andover site integrated business planning process

+ Head project management office function supporting new product introduction, supply readiness, and other technical projects led by STS

+ Actively engage in talent planning and colleague development for STS and the incumbent's organization



**QUALIFICATIONS**



"Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities inclcuding: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact."



Basic Qualifications:



+ BS in Science or Engineering

+ 12+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry experience

+ 8+ years of biotechnology industry experience

+ Prior managerial and team leadership experience



Preferred Qualifications:



+ Broad knowledge and/or experience in biologics drug substance R&D, testing, or manufacturing

+ Broad knowledge and/or experience in biologics product lifecycle management, global regulatory requirements, biopharmaceutical production logistics, and product launch logistics

+ Demonstrated ability to lead or build teams for complex technical projects involving risk management

+ Demonstrated leadership in a matrix organization

+ Knowledge of project management concepts



**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**

Ability to perform mathematical calculations, scientific computation, complex data analysis, verbal communication, written communication
