**ROLE SUMMARY**



Pfizer's newly established Digital Organization provides the Business - from R&D through Commercial Units - with best-in-class analytics solutions for strategic and tactical decision-making.

Within the Customer Analytics organization, designed to support individual brands and individual regions with go-to-market strategies, the Emerging Customer Analytics CoE focuses on bringing and scaling analytics solutions that advance Pfizer's Customer centricity and Digital transformation.

This role will be managing a range of capabilities that advance Pfizer's understanding of customer interactions with each other and Pharma. From understanding how Key Opinion leaders in the Academic/Clinical space influence the rest of the medical community, to mapping out social influencing potential of Physicians and Consumers, to understanding the sentiment of key influencers - this role will be tasked to bring exciting new capabilities to Pfizer's Customer Analytics community.

A big component for the role is the advocacy for the analytics capability and the enablement of the organization to "learn how to fish" by using the newly introduced methodologies and capabilities. The Sr. Manager will be able to identify areas of need where social network analytics can be applied, provide guidance on the implementation of these techniques, follow through with the analysis, and embed these practices by training the rest of the organization - either in the use of these techniques, or their implementation, or both.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

Role definition and Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:



**Analytical Project Leadership**



+ Proactively identify opportunities to improve go-to-market strategy by gaining additional insight into customer interactions and sentiment.

+ Propose a project plan resting on a solid foundation of a scalable and innovative analytical solution, provides the right resourcing for long-term success, and timelines that address business needs. Collaborate with the rest of the Pfizer Digital organization on the project scope.

+ Lead the analytics project scoping, modeling/analytics, implementation, and provide a roadmap for the capability - within the brand/business unit, and across.

+ Serve as the methodology/analytics expert in identifying the right approach that bridges the need for innovation with the urgency of the business needs. Leverage internal and external network of experts to identify the right methodologies (academia, Pfizer CoE, vendors, etc).



**Change Management and Advocacy**



+ Serve as the advocate for emerging customer analytics techniques that bring Pfizer closer to customer centric operating model - one analytics project at a time.

+ Create a case for change within the commercial organization and within the analytics community on why additional analytics techniques can create an impact to the business and the customer experience of Pfizer's physician and patient customers.

+ Enable the analytics community with the techniques to carry the torch of customer analytics and implement innovative techniques in their day-to-day operations. Lead through enabling others to succeed.



**Vendor/Offshore Resource Management**



+ Develop, commission and contract innovative complex and impactful projects through preferred vendors

+ Manage budgets associated with assigned activities.

+ Direct workload of flexible resources and identify the need for changes in flexible resources.

+ Be accountable for continuous improvement and identification/utilization of new capabilities to maximize the competitive advantages of the business

+ Serves as an advisor to Customer Analytics teams on preferred supplier selection and regular supplier performance reviews.



**Collaboration with other Analytics teams**



+ Lead dialogue with local Pfizer Digital teams to adapt global strategies to the local markets.

+ Proactively engage other CoEs: (e.g. Data Science, Resource Allocation) to advance common strategic priorities for the greater good of the business and the analytics community.

+ Proactively lay out the infrastructure, methodology, and the analytics environment needs of one's projects and work with the respective teams on their implementation.



Basic Qualifications



+ Advanced quantitative techniques and their applications to customer analytics space:clustering/segmentation, classification/customer propensity, etc.

+ Comfort with Statistical and Machine Learning concepts. Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised ML techniques and their applications to business / customer analytics problems.

+ Proven expertise in customer network analytics (e.g. influencer identification, network influencing analytics/ Key Opinion Leader/ KOL Identification). Experience with graph databases a plus.

+ Demonstrated strong strategic, conceptual and analytical thinking.

+ Curiosity with the latest advancements in the data science techniques (e.g. deep learning, NLP) and a point of view of their application to customer analytics.

+ Experience with concepts of model lifecycle management and analytics scalability.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Highly collaborative.

+ Project management skills.



**Experience**



+ 7+ years of experience, in analytic roles; experience in network analytics/influencer analytics/graph databases highly preferred.



**Education**



+ A degree in a quantitative discipline.
