Senior Manager, Customer Delivery - Software Automation & Orchestration

What You'll Do

This opportunity is for a Sr. Leadership position to own the delivery of Software Automation & Orchestration delivery function. This is a role based out of Bangalore, India. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with extensive leadership experience in the networking and software engineering space to put their abilities to work in an exciting growth environment, to make an impact for the companys stated evolution towards Software, Cloud and Subscription.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver Network Automation and Orchestration applications for global customers.
  • You will have an opportunity to work with some of the most groundbreaking customers and collaborate with them to redefine and bring about change.
  • Collaborate with Leaders across Cisco sites in driving employee, partner and customer experience to be the best in the industry.
  • Promote software solutions with internal partners and Customers to develop compelling Custom Solutions & delivery models.
  • Recruit outstanding engineering leaders to increase the bench strength of the organization and transform the skillset
  • Promote and nurture team spirit and culture across the team and built on open communication, teamwork, partnership, trust and integrity.
  • Lead employee career development and performance by optimally using coaching/mentoring, critical thinking and team development.
  • Drive industry standard methodologies on Quality frameworks while innovating new DevOps approaches for delivery.
  • Support team members with deeper understanding of standard methodologies in software architectures and design patterns that improves the teams capabilities and value 

Who You'll Work With

The CX Center (CXC) provides flexible and innovative ways to help meet customer needs while improving profitability for Customer Experience (CX) delivery teams. CXCs highly technical, global resources support customer engagements in all regions. These capabilities expand Cisco's technical reach across all Cisco architectures. Through our network of CX-Centres we enable delivery of innovative services and solutions. Our collaborative delivery model drives scalability, efficiency and innovation across the CX organization.

Youll be an authority in the global community of CX Software Delivery leaders and work closely with CX Theatre teams, Product Management teams, Sales teams and Customers in formulating offers, delivery plans, strategies and execution plans.

Who You Are

Around 15+ years of experience in technology industry with Experience in leading development of Software solutions for Networking/Data center/OSS/BSS/cloud services with micro-services based architectures. 

Experience in:

  • Building and shipping production grade software or services.
  • Leading and handling global teams with significant product or service delivery ownership.
  • Programming languages such as Golang, NodeJS, Python, Java, API frameworks and Containers
  • Experience with Open Source Big Data Stack such as Hadoop, HIVE, SPARK, HBASE etc.
  • Working on a hyper-scale cloud platform - AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
  • Enterprise integration architectures such as SOA, RESTful, ETL
  • Data analytics environments such as Hadoop, Sparks, MapR etc
  • DevOps platforms like Jenkins, Artefactory, ELK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana) and Ansible
  • TDD (test-driven development) to write the test first, Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) to focus on testing based on business outcomes.
  • Awareness of Test Automation frameworks like ROBOT, Selenium, Cypress
  • Knowledge of OSS/BSS systems and Microservices and Cloud Native architectures, Dockers and Kubernetes.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent specializations
  • You have led several large sized projects to successful completion accepting agile methodologies.
