Sodexo Energy and Resources seeks a highly motivated Sr, Area General Manager Facilities Operations to support an Oil & Gas Client in Richmond, California area; with experience managing integrated facilities management.  This location also manage a refinery.

This role will be responsible for oversight of both hard and soft facilities services (e.g. engineering, maintenance, janitorial, mailroom, pest control, and reprographics). You will be the number one at an account; monitor cost control programs; recommend improvement strategies to District Manager; assist management team in developing account business plans to enhance customer service; facility layout and design; account profitability and retention and client/customer satisfaction.

Our ideal candidate will have facilities leadership experience with a focus on Integrated Facilities Management. In addition, we are seeking candidates with experience that includes preventative, corrective and deferred maintenance, capital planning, work order and work flow management (CMMS), HSS&E, janitorial services, and subcontract management as well as oversight and local ownership of budgeting and financials.

Experience working in an Oil & Gas, Energy & Resources, Refinery or Manufacturing environment is a plus.

Position Summary

Functions as the in-unit leader for multiple accounts and/or contracts within a defined geography. Single point of contact and/or client liaison in support of a multi-site.Key Duties- Monitors operations by planned and unplanned visits to each operating account of the system to plan projects, implement new processes, client interactions, and new technology to ensure sufficient resources.

-  Develops business plan and budget w/each account GM that supports the System and District goals Reviews and analyzes financial statements and data and other financial information to ensure attainment of financial goals for both the client and Sodexo.

-  Central Point of Contact for Client Liaison promoting a solid business partnership - assists in contract negotiations for the system.

-  Maintains Quality & Company Standards reviews and maintains reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Sodexo / System Client(s) policies and procedures.

- Responsible for system succession planning/employee development/diversity initiatives/training/constructive counseling. Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.

-  Provides strategic leadership to the respective units within the system to maintain client satisfaction and retention
