Ciscos Customer Experience (CX) organization is one of Ciscos fastest growing teams, redefining how Cisco thinks about accelerating customers through the adoption lifecycle across its entire portfolio of products and services. The Senior Leader- Enablement Programs Planning & Development role will support the CX business organization to launch and develop extraordinary talent to deliver the best customer experience in the industry.  The Senior Leader; Enablement Programs Planning & Development, will strategize and plan CX role enablement programs and lead a team to design and development learning and enablement solutions.


Responsibilities Include

Strategy and Planning for Enablement:

       Engage with business to strategize about role and talent enablement initiatives that will and drive growth and transformation for CX.

  • Engage Partner Global Enablement, Regional enablement, CXAcademy, community leads and CX leaders to align, design, plan, and deliver holistic enablement programs to be deployed to global learners.
  • Facilitate strategic enablement discussions with business partners and create multi-quarter role enablement
  • Standardize framework and program methodology across multiple teams

Enablement Program Development:

       Understand scope and resource requirements and lead:

       Learning Architects to analyze gaps * Build and Maintain project plan with Scope, Resources, Timeline, and budget.

       Instructional designers to develop training curricula and/or business solutions to close the gaps * Ensure successful implementation delivery of the training solutions or recommendations * Evolve the profile and development as the needs of the business evolve.

       Program coordinators to craft and maintain project plan with Scope, Resources, Timeline, and budget.

       Lead medium/large cross functional, global learning and development projects. Creation of a project schedule and plan with financial, resource and material requirements.

       Develops and presents proposals at all levels of management

  • Standardize framework and program methodology across multiple teams
  • Standardize enablement platforms and L&D tools across teams

  • Effective Communicator: Ability to clearly articulate challenges and present holistic, thoughtful solutions at the necessary depth across both multi-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Integrity & Team-First Demeanor: Always operates with the mentality of what is best for the business and the team and consistently acts in alignment to that focus

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Established leadership capabilities and track record of connecting strategy to execution, with an ability to define and lead others toward a shared vision while also driving the needed changes to implement
  • Validated experience leading sophisticated, multi-functional initiatives or programs

       Experienced in Change Management, Process Design & Improvement

  • Excellent planning, organization, time management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate past complex project management skills specifically to prioritize and delegate tasks when appropriate
  • Have defined and implemented metrics that quantify objective goals
  • Learn and adapt quickly to fill in gaps so that projects/events are completed successfully and on time.
  • Passion and aptitude to continuously refine & improve our customer success strategy and performance
  • Program management certification(s) preferred
