Better requires process, discipline, and simplification

You will have the opportunity to work with a best-in-class cybersecurity team while continuing to develop and grow your Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) skills. Well look to you to work with cross-functional teams to assess risk, document policy findings and exceptions, identify remediation plans, and manage them through their lifecycle. You will also be responsible for maintaining Information Security policies, standards, and program documentation. You will use your security knowledge, keen attention to detail, and investigative and problem-solving skills to thoroughly document risks and remediate vulnerabilities in the environment. Better requires continuous improvement, and you will be in a position to identify opportunities for improvement and put them into practice.

We need you to have a bachelors degree and minimum 5 years of work experience in information systems and security roles. Advanced degree preferred and may substitute for a year of work experience if is in a cyber security field. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills. You also have experience with security frameworks (NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CIS, PCI-DSS) and risk management practices. You will bring to the table a broad-based IT background with the aptitude to understand issues related to cloud-based technologies, access control, authorization, encryption, business continuity, networking, and information security. Experience with agile project methodologies and tools is a plus. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC are strongly preferred.

Annual base salary gross: $71,192.00.00 - $121,476.00. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Unions total compensation package for employees.
