*Role Summary*
The Senior HR Business Partner (SHRBP) acts as a trusted business advisor to business leaders and other stakeholders. The position leads and facilitates the development of delivery of workplace strategies that impact culture and key capabilities for the organization. The role is responsible for securing and maintaining a productive, diverse and engaged workforce, comprised of the best talent available. Through the design, development and implementation of Human Resources strategies, the SHRBP supports the design and execution of workplace initiatives to achieve business results and sustainable growth. In partnership with the various functional HR areas, the SHRBP drives and deploys integrated talent management, employee development, compensation, performance management and workplace strategies. This role reports to Sr. Director, HRBP.
*Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions*

* Responsible for designing an organization that effectively implements HR programs and processes.

* Develops the change management strategy within the business to support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives.

* Leads the HR programs and processes within the business or function. Assesses HR implications of the business strategy, identifies opportunities to further meet business needs, and designs solutions.

* Represents the business or functional organization to the rest of the HR community. Collaborates on design of enterprise-wide programs and initiatives by providing an organization-specific perspective.

* Evaluates proposed HR programs to determine organization-wide viability. Will act as the senior adviser inside the organization during the implementation phase.

* Coaches senior leadership within the business or function on issues that impact HR.

*New Business Support *

* Lead HR integration of acquired New Business Ventures post acquisition; support acquired businesses with Cox onboarding process.

* Provide strategic direction and thought partnership to both HR organization and senior NBV leadership, as well as leadership of newly integrated teams. Partner to define the integration approach, understand risks, efficiencies, and key milestones and metrics for each acquisition.

* Work with newly acquired leadership team and HR teams to integrate new organization into current structure (org design, job design, employee compensation, etc.) and create a smooth integration.

* Translate business development requirements into HR project plans for the various HR functional groups to lead and execute. Track progress against the HR Plans. Execute change management and communication strategy in partnership with the NBV team.

* Present summary HR integration plan updates and report progress and key metrics to senior leadership.


* Primary point of contact for business; creates strategies and approaches that align the business enterprise wide; engages resources as appropriate to ensure effectiveness of programs and initiatives deployed

* Supports business to create an integrated people plan that aligns with the strategic plans of the organization

* Advises leaders on the implications of short and long-term decisions, strategies, and large-scale change efforts that will yield sustainable business results.

* Designs discovery processes to capture business needs and required capabilities; partners with senior leaders to help create strategy and organizational structure to successfully delivery business goals and objectives

* Monitors and leverages performance results to recommend improvements.

* Partners with COEs and Field HR to develop policies, programs, and tools and provides timely feedback to Center, Field and/or COEs on effectiveness and value to the business.

* The HRBP maintains a high level of engagement with the business and has knowledge of their financial position, its short- and long-term goals and plans, its culture and its competition.

*Change Management*

* Guides, trains and directs managers and employees on the implementation of HR policies and processes to ensure appropriate legal (FMLA, ADA, EEOC, etc.) and company compliance, partnering with others in HR

* Initiates and sustains continuous dialogue with function leaders on both internal and external change issues and opportunities. Facilitates development of change plans and implementation of business transformational (re-organization and/or restructure) initiatives.

* Implements and customizes COE-initiated HR plans, programs, processes, and tools to ensure business unit needs are met while remaining compliant with policy

* Researches, recommends, creates, and directs best practices and trends to influence effective organizational design solutions

* Facilitates and influences leaders in the development of effective organizational designs

* Analyzes how change can be sustained/supported through redesigned HR strategies, programs, practices, policies, and processes.

*Talent Development*

* Plans and promotes the understanding, application, and improvement of strategies to address talent gaps and needs.

* Develops and implements HR plans and programs with business leaders and Centers of Expertise to build and enhance organizational capability.

* Collaborates with clients to support and/or drive workforce planning and design efforts, talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management, talent management, and employment/labor issues.

* Partners with the business on the strategy and implementation of leadership meetings, team building workshops/activities, exercises, or programs to enhance the cohesiveness of teams and to help drive business results.

Manages complex employee relations issues and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications: *Required *

* 10+ years of progressive experience in human resources with increasing responsibilities

* Experience assimilating new businesses into an organization from a HR perspective.

* Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions.

* 8+ years of experience in a client-focused HR Generalist role, including experience as a specialist in one of the following core HR disciplines: talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, or employee development.

* 8+ years of demonstrated experience with coaching and influencing executive level leaders (VP level and above)

* 8+ years of experience with change management and/or organizational design

* Demonstrated experience creating, driving and communicating large organizational change initiatives, developing workforce plans, and influencing business leaders

* Experience leading an HR organization or team required

* Prior experience using Oracle PeopleSoft and managing data

* Requires advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

* Strong consultative, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills

* Role requires the ability to be collaborative, build relationships and influencing skills

* Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities

* Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills

* Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

* Proactive approach to problem solving and solutions oriented

* Must demonstrate teamwork and the ability to partner with others to get things done

* Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

*Preferred *

* BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Management or related field

* Advanced degree

* PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP certification
