Works on problems involving the evaluation of specifications for complex business requirements and processes (new, enhancements, maintenance), and develops and prepares SAS programming solutions. Verifies program logic by preparing test data for trial runs, tests and debugs programs. This role will participate in the overall system development, testing, and migrations of code through SDLC environments as well as provide production support.

  • Develop programming solutions using the SAS Base language and other technologies on a UNIX based platform.
  • ""
  • Solid organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Provide accurate and timely estimates for tasks

  • Provide support and leadership in critical production support issue resolution

  • Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action plan

  • Work with team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues

  • Conduct code review and testing of final results to ensure the work delivered by the team is of high quality standards

  • Work with business to prioritize production issue resolution
  • ""
  • Work with the Business Analyst in process improvement initiatives as directed by the business

  • Develop end-to-end reporting based on business requirements

  • Solve complex issues and implement solutions to enhance productivity, improve quality and customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED + 5 years experience OR Bachelors Degree
  • ""
  • 5+ years SAS programming experience
  • "

o Experience designing reporting systems and/or processes
" o SAS Data step programming and report generation
" o SAS PROC& MACRO programming SQL

  • 3+ years of SQL experience writing complex queries and table joins
  • ""
  • 3+ years of experience Proficient with MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • ""
  • 3+ years of experience writing and assessing business requirements documents
  • ""
