National Accounts collaborates with large and sophisticated companies to help them deliver effective and efficient health care benefits programs to their employees or future retirees

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Develop, enhance and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for selling, general and administrative expenses
  • ""
  • Collaborate with business leaders on cost drivers and assumptions
  • ""
  • Develop, perform and manage the analyses of business and financial metrics as well as performance measures
  • ""
  • Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of staff
  • ""
  • Develop, enhance and maintain financial reporting to clearly communicate results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budget
  • ""
  • Understand and incorporate industry specific metrics into reports to highlight relevant trends and support fact-based business decisions
  • ""
  • Work closely with the business to develop, recommend and establish strategies, plans, and processes to improve profitability and cost efficiencies
  • ""
  • Assist and drive SG&A efficiency initiatives
  • ""
  • Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for their stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

    ""
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting orequivalent degree
  • ""
  • 5+ years of financial or accounting experience
  • ""
  • Knowledge of fundamental financial concepts and procedures
  • ""
  • Demonstrated Financial acumen
  • ""
  • Experience in trend / variance analysis
  • ""
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence across a matrix environment
  • ""
  • Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • ""
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.
