Qualifications Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or higher in Systems Engineering or other Engineering degree program, or related equivalent additional experience
- 12+ years of experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, execution of requirements derivation, decomposition and definitions for IC IT systems, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures
- Demonstrated experience with and understanding of systems engineering lifecycle
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in NGA sensor integration
- Minimum one (1) year verification analysis, testing and analysis of requirements related to IC IT systems
- Minimum one (1) year of industry and/or government experience with Requirements, derivation, decomposition and definition as well as INCOSE characteristics of good software requirements
- Familiarity with spectral tools, ELTs and capabilities to include an understanding of product specifications and their role in tool ingest
Desired Qualifications:- Masters degree in Systems Engineering or other Engineering degree program
- Demonstrated experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), processes, tools and languages
- Demonstrated experience with Software Development Frameworks
- INCOSE Certified Systems engineering Professional (CSEP) certification
- Demonstrated experience within the field of GEOINT
- Demonstrated experience with developing product specifications for compatibility with NSG tools
- Licensed as a professional engineer
- Membership or leadership participation in any of the following professional organizations:
- ACSM
- ASCE
- ASPRS
- INCOSE
- OGC
- SAREM
- USGIF
- Demonstrated experience in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics or related fields
- Demonstrated experience of the current NSG/ASG and MP enterprises
- Demonstrated NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience
- Demonstrated IC or DoD program/project work experience
Responsibilities Systems Engineer - Senior LevelDescription:Senior-level Systems Engineer guides engineering teams in the enterprise level planning activities for the capabilities that are beyond the PHX Baseline. They provide acquisition planning support, identify and document future system architecture and Concept of Operations (CONOPS), functional and tradecraft requirements, security requirements and create or update systems requirements documents and interface control documents.
Responsibilities include:- Guides Mid-level and Junior-level systems engineers performing requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the NSG, ASG and Federal Agencies
- Guides the planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
- Guides Mid-level and Junior-level systems engineers developing solution designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology
- Assists the Government in the capture and translation of mission and customer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions, execution of requirements derivation, decomposition and definition
- Supports the analyses and allocation of requirements to systems architecture components and executing programs
- Performs systems integration activities
- Conducts Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies and Engineering Assessments
- Assists the Government in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management and interface design
- Operates at the level of integrating multiple systems, services, processes and interfaces within a Major Systems Acquisition across organizational and agency boundaries
