What You'll Do

• Build high performant, highly scalable, complex and distributed systems end to end
• Develop simple solutions to address complex problems.
• Contribute to a future-ready, high quality, and performant code base.
• Bring technical solutions to the leadership team, feedback on solutions recommended, new product ideas with the team through design review, pair programming, code review and tech talk.
• Build technical solutions and product ideas with the broader team through design review, code review, proof-of-concepts and show and tell
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products
• Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, UI/UX experts, and software and hardware engineers.

Who You Are

You enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a take-charge / can-do attitude and is able to demonstrate flexibility and resiliency and enjoy collaborating with geographically distributed teams across different time zones. A full-stack developer who works on metadata driven products and applications engineering end-to-end, designing components and persistence mechanism.

8- 12 Years application development experience.

       Primary Skills: R/Java/Python, SQL, Big Data, Hadoop, Spark, AI/ML
Secondary Skills: Kafka, NoSQL,AWS

• Strong programming ability in any one of programming languages such as Python, R, Java and SQL for building complex statistical solutions involving machine learning
• Excellent SQL skills and the ability to use tools to work efficiently at scale with large data sets
• Expertise and experience in Data pre-processing & normalization, transformation and Feature selection techniques
• Experience in advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to derive business value from the full range of internal and external data sets, leveraging Cloud-based Big Data technology.
• Proficiency in some or all of the following techniques: Linear & Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, K-Nearest Neighbours, Markov Chain, Monte Carlo, Gibbs Sampling, Support Vector Machines, Neural Networks, TensorFlow etc.
• Expert knowledge of advanced data mining and statistical modelling techniques, including Predictive modelling (e.g., binomial and multinomial regression, ANOVA); Classification techniques (e.g., Clustering, Principal Component Analysis, Multiple Correspondence Analysis, factor analysis); Decision Tree techniques (e.g., CART, CHAID); Forecasting & predictions
• Experience working with and applying Design patterns to solve problems
• Strong CS fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
• Ability to work on complex and extremely varied data sets from some of the worlds largest organisations to solve real world problems
• Design level experience and solutions incorporating Java, Kotlin, Kafka, Streaming technologies
• Ability to perform performance and scalability analysis as needed
• Good knowledge of technology and product trends, including knowledge of what is happening in Open Source and in other parts of the software development industry
• Ability to work with large-scale distributed systems
• Excellent in problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in fast paced environment with good teamwork capabilities
• Ability to work in an agile and collaborative setup within an engineering team
• Strong desire to build and sense of ownership
