Cisco UCEBU Product Ops is currently seeking talented Electrical Product Engineer. Our Product Engineers provide new product and on-going engineering for UCEBU (IP phone & Video products) from pre-concept commit through whole product life-cycle. 

Manages electrical technical changes to existing products through the ECO and MCN processes.
Provide electrical hardware debug mentorship to contract manufacturing test engineers, debug technicians and manufacturing engineers. Ensures that Manufacturing receives the required level of product training.
Actively work with the Defect Reduction Team by working to identify product issues and drive resolutions.
Provides technical guidance to manufacturing value engineering team on hardware cost redesign and bug fixes.
Debugs complex system electrical level problems.
Supports the development of new products by leading the manufacturing effort to define and drive design for manufacturing and test (DFX and DFT) with the goal of reducing the assembly and test time, and meeting the required product quality level. 
Investigates and promotes cost avoidance efforts during the development phase.
Drives the evaluation and enhancement of the engineering design verification process with the goal of releasing quality product to production.
Promotes team conformance to established processes and procedures through formal and informal training and mentoring. 
Works in conformance to established manufacturing processes and procedures. 
Takes an active role in the evaluation and enhancement of existing tools.

Skills / experience required:

Requires BS degree or above in Electrical Engineering or equivalent plus 8+ years industrial experience. 
Understanding of system hardware architectures, design concepts and engineering development practices. Using various diagnostic tools, debug and trouble-shoot failing system down to board level and also boards down to component level. Characterize timing interface using scope, logic analyzers, TDR and various other equipment. Support to test, debug and bring-up proto boards.
Ability to work with good attention to details but also have a high-level view of product development. 
Handle large and complex projects and processes and flexible to work with others to implement technical strategy.
Experiences with Allegro, Valor and other manufacturing tools used in the job.
Good understanding of PCB fabrication process and technology.
Good understanding of the end-to-end process for board assembly including mechanical assembly
Investigating and evaluating new tools and equipment that will improve the quality of the product and efficiency of the group. 
Ability to train and mentor others in debugging complex system. 
Understanding of the entire product development process. 
Promotes team conformance to established processes and procedures through formal and informal training and mentoring. 
Ability to work with little direction from Manager.
Ability to work in a team and ability to multi-task. Be a Great team player.

*ODM experience will be a plus.
Good written and verbal communication ability in both Chinese and English. Good interpersonal and influence skills.
