The Senior Director, ID&E and Talent Management is a strategic role responsible for setting the direction for and leading enterprise-wide talent, and ID&E activities that align with Cox Automotives strategy and supports the achievement of key business objectives. This includes responsibility for driving talent management strategies, tools and processes in the disciplines of performance management, succession planning, talent assessment, coaching, and leader & team effectiveness. This position creates a cohesive, long-term strategy for talent management that aligns with I&DE efforts across all levels of leaders at Cox Automotive. The leader will also partner with Cox Automotives Executive team and business functions in support of their diversity, inclusion & equity goals and strategies. This leader will support division efforts around diversity recruitment, team member engagement, diversity learning, talent development, and supplier diversity. The leader will work directly with the Cox Enterprises ID&E leader, Executive Sponsors, ID&E Councils, Employee Resource Groups and the HR teams to provide consulting expertise and support on the development and execution of talent, diversity & inclusion strategies, initiatives and programs.
This role will have relationships with Coxs external/internal diversity and talent partners and will represent the Cox companies at forums and events. This position involves a high level of interaction with a variety of cross divisional departments and business functions at different career levels, which includes senior executives. This role will report to the VP, Talent, Learning and Culture and will be based in Atlanta, Georgia.

* Responsible for building a talent strategy to support the ongoing identification and development of emerging leaders and internal talent across the organization using empowered people capabilities, aspirational expectations, and past performance.
* Influences organizational talent and culture with the use of relevant, value-added metrics. Analyzes and report in a manner that aligns with and supports the organizations short-term, and long-term objectives.
* Builds a comprehensive diversity, inclusion & equity strategy in partnership with Cox Enterprises while building diversity, equity, and inclusion as a capability throughout the organization.
* Implements best practices and partners with stakeholders to drive strategies for retention, culture change, and other relevant factors affecting employee engagement.
Qualifications:

* 12+ years experience in talent management and organizational development within large global organizations that includes succession planning, performance management, organizational development, program development and change management.
* Experience working in a global context across multiple cultures.
* Deep knowledge of talent management practices required (i.e., assessment design, implementation, and analysis, performance management, succession planning).
* Experience in the full project life cycle, including analysis, design, development, delivery and post-delivery support. Experience in delivering medium to large scale projects including budget management.
* Strong facilitation and presentation skills including an ability to engage with senior leaders with confidence and poise.
* Plans and acts strategically. Achieves through teams including matrix teams. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
* Experience leading, managing and building high caliber teams in a highly matrixed environment.
* Track record of delivering value to the business and achieving results through recommendations with the ability to manage and prioritize heavy work load and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong internal consulting skills and business acumen, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and other key stakeholders throughout the organization.
