Edward Jones is looking for a Test Data Architect to lead Test Environment strategy and other strategic initiatives. This role operates as a technical, hands-on facilitator in the Quality Organization and is a strategic participant across inter-dependent software development efforts. The ideal candidate cares deeply about efficiency in the software development process and has demonstrated experience leveraging industry-leading tools and frameworks to deliver complete automated testing capabilities. They will be responsible for the test data for Edward Jones' Quality test engineering efforts and partner with various groups to drive cross-functional initiatives. We strive to make our teams successful by partnering with key stakeholders to understand their use cases and building comprehensive testing environments to meet these testing requirements.

*What you'll do:*
* Consults to project teams ensuring alignment with enterprise data architecture standards.
* Contributes to the establishment of data management strategies, principles, models, and standards.
* Maintains currency in enterprise data architecture trends and best practices.
* Quickly assess the compatibility and integration of proposed standards to ensure successful implementations across interdependent technologies.
* Understand data management concepts including structured/unstructured data, batch/real-time integrations, data/process modeling.
* Apply and exploit target technology to support firm objectives
*Data * Apply broad knowledge of technology options, technology platforms, design techniques and approaches across our trading systems. Play a leading role in POCs and building platforms and datasets using data management fundamentals, data storage principles and operational excellence to enhance our testing data, testing environments and software delivery capability.

*Change Agent * Review existing data architecture to determine overall effectiveness and compliance with original objectives, develop comprehensive strategies for improving or replacing underperforming areas

*Automation knowledge* - Excellent knowledge and experience developing strategy and implementing test automation in collaboration with functional area counterparts

*Delivery Maturity* - Direct involvement in efforts to mature agile and DevOps practices for the organization as it relates to test data for automation, increased quality and delivery optimization.
*Required Education and Experience*
* 8+ years of experience in Information Systems related fields,
* Excellent communication skills,
* Experience working with Cloud based environments preferred,
* Knowledgeable in multiple data management disciplines such as: Data governance, master data management, data integration, data modeling, NoSQL and relational database technologies, data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics.
*Preferred Education and Experience*
* Knowledge of micro-services architecture and technology road-mapping
* Experience working in a highly automated enterprise class software environment preferably of scale with thousands of tests going through a gated CI pipeline
* B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems preferred or related work experience.
