The Senior Cognitive Automation Engineer will be responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness of the Digital Workplace organization. Monitors user requests and system issues. Serves as support in responding to and diagnosing production support problems. Interacts effectively with internal customers and appropriate system vendors to conduct necessary research to resolve issues. Ensures documentation standards and procedures for operations are in place. Actively seeks and evaluates opportunities for process improvement. Provides system maintenance and support for enterprise applications and other systems as required and provides a means to verify the integrity of existing infrastructure. Will be expected to respond and support emergencies in an on-call rotation.


- Works collaboratively with stakeholders across Digital Workplace services organization to proactively identify ways to improve and optimize the entire client end-user computing environment, through development and implementation of strategic plans and tactical recommendations.

- Designing and leading the implementation of a pro-active monitoring environment with anomaly detection leveraging tools like Nexthink, Splunk, Endpoint analytics etc.

- Increases system and application supportability via automation tools like UiPath desktop automation, ServiceNow workflow automation, Power Automate etc along with supervise AI bots to increase performance and effectiveness.

- As a highly technical and hand-on lead, lead problem analysis and recovery process to solve complex technical issues and develop customized solutions in deploying software applications to a diverse workstation environment.

- Participate in project assessment, software packaging, custom scripting, pilot testing, user acceptance and communication, and remediation activities associated with large scale software deployments.

- Assists in testing changes and upgrades; ensuring systems will operate wholly in current and future environments to include post deployment System Verification Testing

- Write technical documentation in the form of test plans, installation plans, knowledge articles that are used by AI bot and incident reviews.

- Lead proactive monitoring of key end user services like Microsoft TEAMs, other new service rollout to ensure successful enterprise migration.

- Develops tactics and operational plans in alignment with strategic objectives for assigned technologies and projects.

- Identifies and troubleshoots issues related to end user hardware, layered products, system, network, capacity and performance.

- Leverages data analytics, reporting to provide feedback on trend analysis for continual improvement and provide solution options for gaps within support teams.

- Multi-tasks prioritizes according to business priorities and production availability requirements.

- Provides 24/7 support for responsible applications, operating systems and hardware

- Collaborates and communicates effectively with business and border partners.

- Works with the business owner to document and distribute product troubleshooting information.

- Assists in the development of end-to-end documentation for products, current and future systems

Qualifications: *Minimum:*

- 3+ years of experience required in application admin role

- 3+ years of experience working in Windows 10 end user computing environment required

- Excellent communication and people skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization

- Ability to work with minimal direction, yet also able to work in team environment

- Ability to analyze complex issues and get to root cause

- Must have experience with and understand the urgency required for supporting production systems

*Preferred: *

- BS/BA degree in related Information Technology field.

- Experience with automation platforms like desktop automation, workflow automation - UiPath, ServiceNow, BluePrism, Power Automate and AI platforms like chatbot

- Data analytics and reporting experience

- Experience with machine learning algorithms and pipelines
