Positions in this function includes"administrative intake of members and working with Community"Mental Health center providers and the clinical team. Includes assisting clinical team with administrative tasks including"securing needed documentation and signatures, making phone calls to assist with"timeline requirements for member contacts, completion of required assessments,"mailing documents to providers and members. This function includes intake,"notification and census roles. Employees in jobs labeled with SCA must support"a government Service Contract Act (SCA) agreement.

Part of the challenge here is"dealing positively with members and providers in sometimes challenging"circumstances. As a Senior Clinical Administrative Coordinator,you'll also be available to"be a resource for information. The flexibility to work evening hours will also"be required

Candidate will need be"located within travel distance to Overland Park office as some tasks may need"to be completed in the office setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Document all incoming communication"in Community Care

  • Upload all 3160/3161 into"CommunityCare and enter note

  • Notify CC of activities

  • If the member is transitioning from"another MCO: add that activity in"CommunityCare

  • New Members: Mail welcome packet to guardians and enter"note into CommunityCare

  • Mail Care Plan from CommunityCare to"the member/guardian, enter note

  • Mail Service Plan within 30 days of"completion from CommunityCare to the member/guardian and provider, enter note

  • Unable to reach - Mail letter to"member, enter note in CommunityCare

  • Mail PII to members to complete"prior to initial wraparound meeting within first 14 days

  • Assign new cases to CCs from 834"file within 1-2 business days once eligibility is confirmed

  • Task UM to enter authorizations"after PCSP is completed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Health or Human" Services related field
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer" problems
  • 2+ years of experience working in the health care" industry
  • Ability to work any 8 hours shift from 8am -5pm, Monday - Friday with the possibility of" mandatory overtime to include Saturdays
  • If you need to enter a work" site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the" ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your" symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved" symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are" required to wear a mask in common areas, In addition, employees must" comply with any state and local masking orders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with health care insurance
  • Experience in a hospital, physician's office or medical" clinic setting
  • Clerical or administrative support background or" experience working in a call center environment
  • Experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid" Services
