OptumLab's efforts are driven by math, data, and clinical science, but also focus on the human connections required to understand and treat the chronic diseases that afflict nearly half of the worlds population. To do so, our team tracks the latest in science, technology, and clinical care including what we can learn from our own data. We then apply these things via research studies, clinical trials, and pilot programs that identify new ways to prevent, detect, and intercept disease for our members.

The Query Lab is a research lab designed to advance innovation efforts and learnings to improve the ways we detect, intercept and prevent disease. We are looking for a Senior Clinical Administrative Coordinator to ensure study participants safety, privacy, data security, and satisfaction and to support implementation of research studies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage the labs front desk and the check-in process
""
• Greet and assist participants in a professional, courteous manner
""
• Direct participants to different locations within the lab
""
• Manage participants appointments at the lab including scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling
""
• Provide follow-up calls, emails, and texts as required
""
• Administer and collect informed consents and participant surveys when appropriate
""
• Maintain the privacy and safety of participants
""
• Store participants records in approved, secure methods
""
• Collaborate with lab staff, Principal Investigators, study coordinators, and contractors
""
• Document and report participant-related issues to lab staff
""
• Monitor and document compliance to the Query Lab Standard Operating Procedures
""
• Collaborate with Director, Principal Investigators, and other key staff in the implementation of studies
""
• Effectively communicate with lab staff all issues and problems that may or will affect ongoing or future studies
""
• Manage supply inventory
""
• Re-ordering of supplies
""
• Support research studies as needed
""
• Help keep the lab organized and clean
"

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
""
• 1+ year of customer service/front desk experience
""
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
""
• You will be provisioned with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role with patients and members on site, as this is an essential function of this role
""
• Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained
