The PGS Digital Manufacturing Team is responsible for the delivery of Pfizer's Core Digital Manufacturing Operations Management (MoM) capabilities at every level of the PGS Plant Network (ISA 95 Levels 0-4). These solutions are critical to Manufacturing Execution, Manufacturing Process Intelligence and Production Optimization that aim to improve product quality, increase asset utilization/uptime, automate manual workflows and streamline plant floor operations.

PGS Digital Manufacturing Team provides common application platforms and solution capabilities for Digital Plant, Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Execution, Manufacturing Excellence and Manufacturing Innovative Technology Solutions, while ensuring a unified User Centric Design. Key to the success of this transformative digital mindset is the secure, seamless flow of contextualized data from the device & control levels, all the way to the top of the Enterprise. These solutions are deployed across more than fifty manufacturing & center locations across the PGS Globally.

The Senior Associate, Smart Factory Technology will be supporting the management of the strategy on the following technologies:

+ Augmented Reality (AR) in Manufacturing

+ Spatial AR projects

+ Innovative use of cameras in production environments

+ Integrate multiple applications to AR experience

+ Release the value of AR in Manufacturing environment

The Senior Associate, Smart Factory Technology colleague will be responsible for applying advanced skills and knowledge in XR technologies to create a comprehensive strategic roadmap for PGS. The colleague is expected to provide guidance and co-lead multiple innovation projects. The colleague is also expected to deploy innovative options when solving complex problems within the manufacturing space.


The Senior Associate, Smart Factory Technology colleague's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Product owner for multiple AR solutions

+ Manage Financials, Vendors, Resources and budgets

+ Interface with business customers and key stakeholders

+ Create the Augmented Reality Strategy for PGS

+ Develop and maintain the Augmented/Mixed Reality (AR) strategic roadmap for PGS

+ Collaboratively drive all XR related projects

+ Deliver all projects leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology

+ Initiate and partner on the XR experiences driven off Building Information Model (BIM) standards

+ Lead developers integrating XR into automation and robotic systems, while developing a roadmap for these capabilities

+ Initiate, develop, and facilitate innovative technology vendor relationships as it relates to POC projects

+ Manage financial activities related to vendor creation, management, and purchase order tasks

+ Develop and manage project timelines, work plans, and deliverables

+ Support change management tasks and assisting in maintaining internal social media presence


+ Education: Bachelor's Degree required

+ 3+ years of work experience in AR / VR and or Manufacturing environments

+ Good understanding of Augmented reality and related technologies such as Unity, PTC Vuforia and other wearable technology platforms

+ Good understanding of manufacturing environments

+ Excellent project management skills

+ Executive Presence & Fluent English


+ Strategic Vision for solution roll outs and emerging tech trends

+ Facilitation, negotiating and presentation skills

+ Experience with Agile Software Delivery and/or Scrum Master Certification a plus;

+ Familiarity with Human Centered Design Thinking and comfortability running rapid prototyping proof of concept projects

+ Ability to work in ambiguous situations

+ Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving

+ Experience using standard requirements business analysis techniques, including brainstorming, requirements sessions, activity diagrams and use cases desired
