What youll do

  • Own and lead the resolution of Duo product security impactful issues

  • Engage directly with internal teams in order to drive issues to resolution on behalf of customers and stakeholders

  • Enable and facilitate cross-functional team problem resolution

  • Communicating status of PSIRT involvement at all levels of management, both internal and external

  • Engaging teams such as PR, and Legal as required

  • Responding to and assisting with customer-impacting product security events or defects

  • Work closely and partner with other Security teams throughout Duo


Skills you have

  • Empathy is a part of who you are and how you get things done

  • You have developed skills in working with both internal and external facing customers

  • You have experience working with Product Security Incident Response processes and teams

  • You have a strong understanding of many vulnerability classes impacting a variety of languages.

  • Youre comfortable manually auditing code for vulnerabilities and using static & dynamic code analysis tools or have a willingness to learn.

  • You are able to mentor and be mentored on security practices, controls and bring an influential flair to your audience whether it is one on one, during a presentation or workshop.

  • You understand security engineering principles, and how to seriously consider when a best practice may not be, in fact, the best choice or positively impact the actual security of our business and our customers.
