The Sr. Analytics Lead will be responsible for driving business results and empowering informed, data-driven marketing decisions by providing the marketing organization that supports the Cox Automotive Retail Solutions Group with timely insights and thought partnership.

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager, Marketing Analytics, and will work directly with internal Marketing and Analytics peer groups. As an Analytics Lead, you will support company/initiatives/projects that require extensive discovery effort, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for questions related to marketing analytics and site audience trends. You will also provide proactive insights, information, and analyses regarding the marketing efforts for our consumer-facing brands, including standard reporting and monitoring of the health of the business, custom analyses of marketing projects, proactive identification of existing optimization and new opportunities, and the progress of supporting team members from conception through execution, conduct presentations, and makes recommendations to various levels of leadership.

Its also responsible for ensuring analytics best practices and continuous improvement of analytics methodologies/ technologies to lower level of efforts for common tasks and to improve overall team efficiency and effectiveness. Expected to perform these duties with little daily oversight

* CHAMPIONS A HEALTHY TEAM CULTURE, ABILITY TO COACH TEAM MEMBERS AND SUPPORT THE SELECTION, TRAINING, DEVELOPMENT, APPRAISAL AND WORK ASSIGNMENTS OF TEAM MEMBERS.
* SERVE AS ANALYTICS LEAD FOR COMPANY INITIATIVES/PROJECTS, ABLE TO ESTABLISH BUSINESS OBJECTIVES, QUESTIONS, AND REQUIREMENTS WITH STAKEHOLDERS AND PROVIDE TACTICAL CONSULTATION AS AN ANALYTICS SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT FOR DRIVING THE BEST BUSINESS OUTCOMES, PARTNERING WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION TO SUPPORT INSIGHTS-DRIVEN BUSINESS DECISIONS AIMED AT GROWTH / BUSINESS OPTIMIZATION WITH MINIMAL MANAGERS SUPPORT.
* REVIEW RESULTS WITH VARIOUS SIZES AND LEVELS OF INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL AUDIENCES BY PRESENTING COHESIVE INSIGHTS STORIES WITH MINIMAL MANAGERS SUPPORT
* MONITOR THE HEALTH OF THE COX AUTOMOTIVE RETAIL SOLUTIONS GROUPS PRODUCTS AND ITS BUSINESSES, ANTICIPATE BUSINESS NEEDS AND PROACTIVELY WORK WITH STAKEHOLDERS TO ESTABLISH REQUIREMENTS FOR ADVANCED RECURRING AND AD-HOC ANALYTICS SUPPORT, INCLUDING REPORTING, ANALYSES, ACTIONABLE INSIGHTS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO DRIVE GROWTH. SET PROPER DELIVERY EXPECTATIONS ACCORDING TO BUSINESS PRIORITIES WITH LIMITED MANAGERS OVERSIGHT.
* APPLY ADVANCED ANALYTICS METHODOLOGIES TO OUR ONLINE PROPERTIES VISITOR BEHAVIORAL AND BUSINESS DATA, AND PROVIDE INSIGHTS NOT ONLY BASED ON HISTORICAL TRENDS, BUT ALSO FUTURE FORECAST TO INFORM OPTIMIZATION STRATEGIES. LEVERAGE SUPPORT FROM ANALYTICS SPECIALISTS BY COACHING THEM ON PROPER ANALYTICS STANDARDS AND VALIDATING THEIR WORK.
* WORK CLOSELY WITH THE TESTING ANALYTICS MANAGER AND CONSULT STAKEHOLDERS ON FORMULATING TEST STRATEGIES, INDIVIDUAL TEST DESIGNS, MEASUREMENT AND ANALYSIS OF A/B AND MULTIVARIATE TESTING BY APPLYING PROPER TESTING PRINCIPLES AND STANDARDS.
* SUPPORT THE MAINTENANCE OF ANALYTICS IMPLEMENTATION, MAINTENANCE, ACCURACY AND IMPROVEMENT OF DIGITAL ANALYTICS DATA CAPTURE, SYSTEMS AND TOOLS. VALIDATE THE DATA IN OUR REPORTING AND ANALYZING SYSTEMS TO ENSURE CROSS-SYSTEM DATA ARE ACCURATE AND ALIGN TO HOW THE BUSINESS DEFINES THEM
* ESTABLISH ANALYTICS STANDARDS BY IMPLEMENTING LEADING INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE AND BEST PRACTICES, INCLUDING DATA MINING, ANALYSES, REPORTING, VISUALIZATION, DATA STORIES, ANALYTICS THOUGHT PARTNERSHIP.
* WORK CROSS-FUNCTIONALLY TO IDENTIFY CURRENT ORGANIZATION GAPS AND EMERGING TRENDS IN PLATFORM AND METHODOLOGIES THROUGH VENDOR REVIEWS, AS WELL AS TO PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS ON NEW SOLUTIONS TO CONTINUALLY IMPROVE ANALYTICS CAPABILITIES AND EFFICIENCIES. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK DIRECTLY WITH VENDORS TO DRIVE TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES AND TO RESOLVE ISSUES.
* WORK WITH MANAGER AND DIRECT LINE OF LEADERSHIP TO DEFINE PRIORITIES THAT ALIGN WITH EVOLVING BUSINESS PRIORITIES, ABILITY TO SET PROPER EXPECTATIONS AND MANAGE PROJECT/TASK PROGRESS WITH TEAM MEMBERS AND STAKEHOLDERS

*Compensation:*

* Compensation includes a base salary of $96,400 - 134,900. Salary may vary outside of the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidates experience.
* Position is eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or and incentive program.
Qualifications:

* 5+ YEARS IN AN ANALYTICAL/STATISTICS FOCUSED POSITION, PREFERABLY IN A WEB SITE ANALYSIS-ORIENTED ROLE.
* BACHELORS DEGREE (B. A.) FROM FOUR-YEAR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY PREFERABLY BUSINESS OR ANALYTICAL FIELDS SUCH AS MARKETING, BUSINESS, ECONOMICS, FINANCE, STATISTICS, MATHEMATICS, PSYCHOLOGY, OR SOCIAL SCIENCE, 7+ YEARS EXPERIENCE IN RELATED FIELD OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE. MASTERS DEGREE PREFERRED
* EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WITH WEB / DIGITAL ANALYSIS AND RELATED SOFTWARE PREFERRED (E.G., ADOBE ANALYTICS / OMNITURE, GOOGLE ANALYTICS, WEBTRENDS, ETC.).
* EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WITH BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS (E.G. MICROSTRATEGY, PLATFORA, TABLEAU OR DATAMEER.)
