Jobs in this family are responsible for effective, organization-wide purchasing of services, materials and supplies in order to maximize cost efficiencies, price leverage and quality while also identifying and mitigating risk to the organization. Typically oversees development of broad internal policies and strategies, specific parameters for procurement, vendor selection and negotiation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the procurement and management of inventory levels of Factor products across 50+ home infusion pharmacies.
""
• Use analytical skills to define optimal coverage duration by product, category, etc.
""
• Calculate order quantities by using forecast, contractual commitments, patient referrals, and replenishment parameters
""
• Create Purchase Orders in internal systems and place supplier orders in external systems
""
• Make allocation decisions and communicate to suppliers and pharmacies for all supply constraints
""
• Collaborate with pharmacies during critical supply shortages to mitigate impacts to patient infusion schedules
""
• Communicate and review forecasts with manufacturers and wholesalers
""
• Communicate supply, demand, allocation and purchase information to internal and external stakeholders
""
• Monitor pharmacy inventory levels and stock balance product between pharmacies
""
• Maintain daily operational relationships with drug wholesalers and manufacturers
""
• Setup and facilitate regular meetings with suppliers
""
• Serve as internal subject matter expert for Factor procurement & inventory in cross-functional teams and initiatives
""
• Create stock status reports and other communications on product availability for wide distribution within the organization
""
• Support Ig product procurement by managing daily special orders, reporting, and quarterly PO/order entry
""
• Cross-train on Ig and IV Oncology procurement to backup team members when out of office

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Materials Management, Procurement, Logistics or Business Administration
""
• 7+ years of procurement experience
""
• Excellent proficiency of MS Excel
""
• Good negotiation skills and business management knowledge
""
• Ability to work professionally & ethically within the company and with suppliers
""
• Strong organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
""
• Ability to solve problems with sense of urgency

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
