What Youll Do 

As a customer marketing manager in the product marketing organization, you will engage with some of our most active and happy customers to build strong relationships with them. As a pioneer in this strategic group, you will build a community of fanatic brand advocates who share their Cisco Secure experiences with our network of advocates, in third-party review sites, at events, or with analysts and the press. If you are a creative marketer who enjoys building human bridges to deliver delightful experiences for our customers, we need you.

Who You Are 

Were searching for a creative and passionate teammate who is an excellent communicator and possesses keen listening skills -- we are after all, product marketing raconteurs! You have a strong passion for serving and understanding customers and are empathetic to buyers, customers, and sales partners. You possess analytical skills to determine the marketing effectiveness and ROI of customer engagement efforts. You are focused on not only delivering on the day-to-day activity, but also help reach marketing and sales goals.  

You check your ego at the door and learn from others constantly, while also helping the broader team to understand the needs of our customers and provide value throughout the relationship lifecycle. You will lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs such as events, workshops, conferences, awards programs and reviews. You are enthusiastic about engaging with customers and are constantly recruiting new advocates. You embrace change and are agile in your approach to leading projects. 


Minimum Requirements

You possess innate interpersonal skills working with other people energizes you. You possess genuine curiosity and are always eager to serve as connector to your squad. You are intrigued by the experiences of others and make your customers the heroes of your stories. You find cybersecurity, an industry that is constantly evolving, fascinating, intriguing, and fast paced just like you! You love building communities, and your energy is contagious. 

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or business  

  • Experience leading customer programs 

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
