The SOC (Security Operations Centre) Security Technical Leader is responsible for architecting SOC engagements sold by Ciscos sales team. You will lead Cisco top 100 accounts for security services and will collaborate with our customers to help with SOC strategy & design services that can then be translated into technical architecture. Experience in SOC Technical architecture with ability to integrate SOAR, Threat Intelligence with experience of automation and response. You will have experience of solving sophisticated security problems into technical solutions with business clarity, technology innovation and project execution. Lead teams to collect requirements and present designs. Ability to influence and work with C level execs is key. Engagements will include creating security architectures and solutions that are focused on creating SOC strategies, services and helping customers automate & orchestrate.

As a Technical Leader you will be responsible for developing next gen architectures that may include third party products that are outside of Ciscos product sets. You will cooperate with internal Cisco groups to help our clients design, build and integrate SOCs &/or a cyber defense centers around the world.


Who you'll work with

The Technical Leader will engage with internal senior stakeholders including account managers, service sellers and business development managers to help shape & influence sophisticated security solutions into easily transformable security & business solutions. You will work with CX centers & partners to provide integration services and have strong security architecture and security framework experience.

Working as part of the Global Security Services organization, you will engage in delivery of both transactional and subscription projects to strategic customers throughout the EMEAR theatre. Projects vary considerably between security reviews, design and implementation of Cisco security products.


Who You Are

  • Knowledge and expertise of security architectural framework such as SABSA.
  • Experience of Identity & Access Management with NAC, or Network Security Architecture with NGFW but in particular, experience of Security Operations Centers and/or Cyber Defence Centres
  • Proficiency with SOAR platforms, Threat Intelligence Platforms.
  • Several years experience in delivering cyber security services engagements with SIEM / SOC platforms such as Splunk, Arcsight, ExaBeam.
  • Consulting or sales engineering with external clients and end users - in integrating/implementing network security products such as ISE/TrustSec or our competitor products in the Network Access Control domain.
  • Knowledgeable in network security and skilled in security technologies (ideally TrustSec Solution and ISE Platform Architecture).
  • Extensive experience of Identity & Access Management or Threat Management Cyber Security product deployment and implementation.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering including evaluating, developing, customizing, installing, and supporting network systems.
  • Ability to present, author and communicate to C level boardrooms
  • Ability to estimate levels of effort.
  • Understand project management and ways of working / breaking down to landmarks.
  • Create HLD & LLD to a very high standard using Visio or other authoring tools.
  • Highly proficient in TCP/IP networking
  • CCIE, CISSP, CSSP in Cloud Security or other security certification or relevant experience and knowledge

Desirable skills:

  • Preferred UK Security Clearance (SC or DV). Ideally DV or DV Enhanced
  • Level of comfort presenting to groups of people
  • CCIE Security, CCSP or CISSP.
  • Open to travel throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia
