Auto req ID: 234855BR Job Description Fleet Supervisor supports multiple locations and is responsible for organizing, tracking, and reporting the fleet operations work stream, this includes Kronos, GPS, EAM, and Invoicing. Reports to Market Fleet Manager and will support market location and market level projects and communications. SAFETY is #1 in all aspects of Supervisors role. Maintain an efficient and capable running fleet that will allow supported departments Sales, PES, Transport, Production, and Whse. to operate effectively. Track and report daily fleet cost and measurable, operational KPIs. Ensure EAM (maintenance program) integrity. Meet customers needs Sales, Production, Whse., Transport, and PES Maintain records including but not limited to safety, environmental, and vehicle. Work with fleet mechanics to develop skills and focus on KPIs Complete work schedules for front line technicians. Execute, track, and train required annual fleet training. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES To handle the fleet and the fleet needs in an optimized manner that will meet the ongoing sales and delivery requirements by preparing serviceable vehicles through: Focusing on Safety. Training to keep technicians up to speed on expected procedures. Identify equipment replacement needs and receive new assets. Plan and implement fleet replacement as needed according to fleet age, mechanical conditions and general status. Work thru repair vs. rent decisions towards end of life. Ensure abuse is properly documented for department communication. Establish & Maintain maintenance strategies with local vendors. Follow up with 3rd party vendors after work is completed to ensure repair is up to standard. Receive and pay suppliers for maintenance / parts services. Approve repairs expenses according to contracts. Follow through with fleet service center for timely settlement of payments to suppliers. Execute contracts for national accounts vendors i.e. fuel, oil, tires, batteries, etc. Follow-up and monitor asset PM, Yard inspection, and Annual DOT inspection compliance. Utilize asset optimization to ensure fleet asset size is efficient. Work within fleet budget, monitoring spend, and identifying overspend. Keep track of fleet expenses on a monthly basis. Working on regional teams to improve fleet performance. Travel to various fleet sites will be required Qualifications/Requirements A Fleet Supervisor must possess a high level of skill in the following areas: Industry experience with equipment repair in a production / transportation/ logistics organization. OEM certificates for repair practices for transportation industry equipment and knowledge of current technology. Strong people skills with an ability to coach and lead. Strong Microsoft office skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
